Itinerary

Hello from Cairo! The first destination on our 15-day Egypt tour is Cairo, where Inside Egypt representatives will greet you at Cairo International Airport and transport you to your hotel so you can check in. The afternoon will be free for travellers to unwind after their exhausting travels. The hotel's restaurant serves dinner.

Early in the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, we will have a 2-hour private tour of the Giza Plateau, home of the Great Sphinx and the famous Pyramids of Giza, before the site is opened to the general public. This exclusive access to the plateau is made possible by a special permission issued to Inside Egypt by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

Our first destination will be the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the only remaining example of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The guards will open exclusively for us the Queen's Chamber and the Subterranean Chamber, which are frequently beyond bounds to the general public. Our next trip will be to the Great Sphinx, where we will this time go inside its prison for another special experience.

After enjoying our visit to the Pyramids of Giza, have a delicious lunch. Then, we will go to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the world’s largest museum dedicated to a single civilization, Ancient Egypt. It’s located near the Giza Pyramids on the Cairo–Alexandria Desert Road in Giza. There are more than 250,000 genuine artefacts on show in addition to an exhibition of Tutankhamun's riches, gold, and jewellery collection, all of which were kept in his tomb for more than 3,500 years.

After which, we'll take you to your hotel for the night.

Our tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation so you may visit Coptic Cairo. Coptic Cairo is a subset of Old Cairo, which also contains the Babylon Fortress, the Hanging Church, and the Greek Church of St. George, as well as a large number of other Coptic churches and historical landmarks. The Holy Family is supposed to have passed through this area and stayed at the Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church site, according to Christian mythology (Abu Serga). Coptic Cairo was a bastion for Christianity in Egypt up to the Islamic era, despite the fact that the majority of the churches' current architecture was built after the Muslim invasion of Egypt in the 7th century.

Ben Ezra Synagogue will be our next stop.

Old Cairo, Egypt, is home to the Ben Ezra Synagogue, sometimes referred to as the Synagogue of the Levantines or the El-Geniza Synagogue. According to local folklore, this is the location where baby Moses was found.
In its genizah, or store chamber, in the 19th century, Hebrew, Aramaic, and Judeo-Arabic secular and religious manuscripts were found from this synagogue. The transfer of the Cairo Geniza collection to the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, England, was started by Solomon Schechter. Currently, it is dispersed throughout several academic institutions.

Following that, we will transport you to your accommodation in Cairo.

We will fly to Luxor in the early morning, where we will join a five-star luxury cruise ship to begin our Nile cruise tour.
Luxor, which was originally known as Thebes, became the capital of Egypt during two separate pharaonic dynasties. Both the ruins of the ancient city and its necropolis are included as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Our first stop in Luxor is the legendary Karnak Temple Complex, the largest temple complex in the entire world.
Lunch on the ship.
In the evening, we'll visit the beautiful Luxor Temple, which has a huge figure of Ramses II and an obelisk.
On board, dinner is provided.

We'll travel to the West Bank of Luxor by Nile cruise after breakfast.
We're going to three tombs in the Valley of the Kings. For a slight additional charge, you can visit a different tomb, namely the well-known tomb of King Tutankhamun.

Then we go to the Colossi of Memnon, which are two colossal statues of Amenhotep III.

The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut in Deir el-Bahari, one of Egypt's most distinctive temples, is the next stop on our schedule. Its construction of limestone sets it apart from the majority of the other New Kingdom funeral temples, which were made of sandstone.

Lunch on the ship. The remainder of the day is yours to unwind. You may enjoy the ship's sunny terrace and breathtaking views of the Nile region as we travel to Kom Ombo.

Today, we'll visit the Crocodile Museum, where you can view mummified crocodiles, as well as the Kom Ombo Temple, a building from ancient Egypt's Ptolemaic dynasty.
We left for Aswan the previous evening. Enjoy a "galabeya party" and a traditional meal. Everyone dons a galabeya, a traditional outfit that may be bought in the area or even aboard the ship. After supper, there will be local acts and Egyptian music. Everyone is welcome to participate in traditional Egyptian dances. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet other tourists and discover more about Egyptian culture and way of life.

Horse-drawn carriages will transport us to the magnificent Temple of Edfu once we arrive in Edfu.
After the site tour, we will board the cruise ship once more and sail away from Luxor. The afternoon's remaining hours are free for individual pursuits. You may unwind on the ship's sundeck during this time and enjoy the views of the Nile, including the far-off desert, verdant fields, working farmers, and quaint towns.

We'll begin the day with a trip to the Unfinished Obelisk, the biggest obelisk in the entire world.
The Temple of Isis, which is situated on an island in the river and only reachable by speedboat, honors the goddess of health, love, and knowledge.
After lunch, you'll be escorted to view the magnificent Aswan High Dam.

Back to your ship, where you may unwind and spend the night.

We will check out of Aswan on the second day and go to Abu Simbel, where we will view two stunning rock-cut temples that are among the most well-known examples of ancient Egypt. The Nubian Monuments, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, extend from Abu Simbel to the island where the Temple of Isis is situated. We then take a flight back to Cairo.

The day-long journey to Fayoum takes place. After breakfast, we'll travel for an hour and a half in an air-conditioned coach before taking a 4x4 safari to the Wadi El Hitan UNESCO World Heritage Site (Whale Valley). When we go to the neighbouring Magic Lake, we could have time to go swimming or sandboarding.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
After that, we'll visit the Qasr Qarun Temple.
In the evening, we'll return to our Cairo hotel and have supper there.

Get ready to be transported to Cairo International Airport as soon as you complete breakfast at the hotel, so you can continue your Egypt budget Tours and catch a flight to Sharm El Sheikh. A representative from our firm will greet you at the Sharm El Sheikh airport and drive you to the hotel so you can check in and have some free time in the afternoon and evening.

Stay the night in the hotel in Sharm.

It's time for an adventure! Around 2:00 PM, your private tour guide will pick you up from your hotel, and it will take about 15 minutes to travel to the adjacent Quad Bike Centre. After a brief safety and driving instruction session, you can begin your quad bike trip in Sharm with our Vacation in Egypt plan. You will ride your quad bike across the Sinai desert while admiring the amazing surroundings.

After travelling for about an hour, you will come to a stop at the highest point, where you can rest and sip some authentic Bedouin herbal tea. Your air-conditioned mode of transportation will then drive you back to your hotel once you return the bike to the Quad Bike Center. Enjoy your evening anyway you choose.

Overnight in Sharm El-Sheikh

After your daily buffet breakfast is served, you will be driven from your hotel to the sea dock around 8:00 a.m. From there, you will board a boat to Ras Mohamed National Park, where you will have the chance to take a leisurely snorkelling trip in Sharm El Sheikh and discover the world beneath the Red Sea water, which is home to more than 130 different types of coral reefs and 1,000 different species of vibrant fish.

The boat will stop three times during the expedition so that you can take advantage of swimming and snorkelling in the Red Sea. Moreover, lunch will be offered. At the end of the day, the boat will bring you back to land, where you will be taken by car to your lodging.

overnight in Sharm

On the final day of your Cairo and Sharm El Sheikh vacation packages, enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and get ready to check out. After dropping you off at the airport to catch a flight back to Cairo International Airport, your tour guide from Cairo Top Tours will pick you up and drive you back to your hotel in Cairo.

Relax overnight

In the morning, we'll travel from Cairo to Alexandria by air-conditioned bus. The National Museum of Alexandria, the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina will all be seen as part of our tour of this coastal city's top sights. We'll also get a close-up look at the Citadel of Qaitbay.

Lunching by the Mediterranean Sea at a seafood restaurant.
Dinner will be served when we return to our hotel in Cairo in the evening.

The last day we can bid Egypt farewell is today. After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and be transported to Cairo International Airport. You will leave Egypt with new experiences, gorgeous images, and priceless memories.
