Your tour will now transfer to the Grand Egyptian Museum, a two-story building containing more than 120,000 artifacts from the Pharaonic period, with 2,800 on show, and is the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities in the world. It exhibits a rare collection of over 250,000 genuine artifacts that date as far back as 5000 years, including an exclusive exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamun, a collection of treasures enclosed in his tomb over 3500 years ago and discovered in 1920.
After having lunch at an excellent local restaurant, discover Islamic Cairo and visit the most famous mosques built between the 9th and 20th centuries. Then enjoy a walk in Khan El Khalili, Cairo's old bazaar. Head to the hotel for overnight.
