Daily Details for Travel Tour and Activities
Welcome to Egypt! After arriving at Cairo International Airport, you'll be greeted by your tour guide/driver and taken to your hotel in Giza in an air-conditioned vehicle. Once checked in, go over the next day's itinerary and enjoy a welcome drink before resting for the night.
Start with an early breakfast, then visit the Giza Pyramids: the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Pyramid of King Chephren, the Sphinx, and King Mycerinus. Optional camel rides and a Valley Temple visit are available. Next, explore Memphis City and Saqqara necropolis, including the Step Pyramid and ancient tombs. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel in Giza.
After breakfast, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to artifacts including those of Tutankhamun. Tour the Citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali. Explore Coptic Cairo with stops at the Roman fortress of Babylon, the Hanging Church, the Church of St. Sergius, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. After lunch, wander through the Khan El Khalili bazaar and the Islamic Cairo district. Return to your hotel.
After breakfast, travel to Alexandria with your guide. Visit Pompey’s Pillar, the catacombs of Kom El Shokkafa, and the citadel of Qaitbay. Explore the Bibliotheca of Alexandria and enjoy a seafood lunch before returning to your hotel in Cairo.
