Daily Details for Travel Tour and Activities
Welcome to Egypt! Upon arriving at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by your tour guide/driver and taken to your hotel in Giza in an air-conditioned vehicle. After checking in, review the next day's itinerary and enjoy a complimentary drink before resting for the night.
Start with an early breakfast, then visit the Giza Pyramids: the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Pyramid of King Chephren, the Sphinx, and the Pyramid of King Mycerinus. Optional camel rides and a visit to the Valley Temple are available. Continue to Memphis City and the Saqqara necropolis to see the Step Pyramid and ancient tombs. After lunch at a local restaurant, return to your hotel in Giza.
After breakfast, visit the Egyptian Museum, home to artifacts including those of Tutankhamun. Explore the Citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali. Discover Coptic Cairo with stops at the Roman fortress of Babylon, the Hanging Church, the Church of St. Sergius, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. After lunch, explore the Khan El Khalili bazaar and the historic Islamic Cairo district. Return to your hotel in the evening.
Enjoy breakfast, then travel to Alexandria with your guide. Visit Pompey’s Pillar, the catacombs of Kom El Shokkafa, and the Citadel of Qaitbay. Explore the Bibliotheca of Alexandria and enjoy a seafood lunch before heading back to your hotel in Cairo.
After breakfast, check out and be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your departure, marking the end of your Egyptian adventure.
