One of our tour guides will meet you at the Cairo airport to begin our day excursion and drive you to the Giza pyramids. The Giza Pyramids, one of the few remaining wonders of the ancient world, are located on the Giza Plateau, where you will first travel.
Before heading down the valley to the enormous Sphinx, who proudly serves as the Mortuary complex's watchman, you tour the Pyramids and take in the panoramic views from the western plateau.
Next, we'll visit one of Egypt's largest Governmental Papyrus Institutes, where you can choose from a selection of hand-painted papyrus sheets and watch a demonstration of the method used to make the ancient paper known as papyrus. This location is not far from the Pyramids.
Take advantage of a superb orientation tour of Cairo that covers the significant ancient landmarks as well as the perplexing labyrinth of alleyways and stalls of the old city.
Visit Old Cairo to visit, among other important Cairo sites, the Hanging Church, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Church of St. Barbara, and the Church of Abu Serga, one of the earliest Coptic Cairo churches.
Lunch will be served in a restaurant in Old Cairo. Khan el-Khalili is one of the Middle East's oldest bazaars. Discover the perplexing maze of passageways that has been the centre of commerce in Cairo since the 14th century.
After that check-in, we'll take you back to your hotel so you may stay the night.
