Our day tour starts with a pick-up from your hotel in Cairo by our tour leader in a modern and air-conditioned car to make a short drive to the Giza Pyramids. You'll have plenty of time to wander around and take in the incredible views! Once at the pyramids, we'll give you a brief history and explain some of the intricacies of this ancient monument.

The Giza Pyramids are one of the oldest and most iconic archaeological sites in the world. They are located on the outskirts of Cairo, in southern Egypt. The Giza Pyramids are made up of three main pyramids, which were built over a period of around four hundred years, from 2560 to 2460 BC.

then we will see the sphinx which is a colossal granite statue of a lion with a human head. It is located on the eastern side of the Giza Plateau, near the pyramid of Khafre. The Sphinx was carved out of the granite bedrock during the Old and Middle Kingdom periods, around 2500 BC.

Next, we'll head to the Valley Temple, which is located in the heart of the Giza Necropolis. The Valley Temple was built for the Pharaoh Khafre and was used for the embalming of his body. It is the largest of the three temples at Giza and is made of granite.

then we will have lunch at a local restaurant. after that, we'll head over to Coptic Cairo, the oldest Christian stronghold in the world. Here, you'll see some of the most important religious sites in Egypt, as well as some of the city's most stunning architecture. Visit the Coptic churches in Old Cairo, the hanging church built on top of an old Roman tower, the Church of St. George, and the holy family crypt church to see where the holy family stayed for three months while traveling through Egypt.

Finally, we'll sail down the Nile River on our beautiful felucca! This is a unique experience you won't want to miss and is a perfect end to a great day in Cairo!
