the structures in Bigeh were untouched by the flooding of Lake Nasser by the Aswan Dam project, because of the location on the highest outcrop of rocks on the island. Wide lotus-headed columns flank the gateway. and In the distance is topped with a relief carving of a winged sun disk, , the monuments of Philae can be seen from there too, including the Hypaethral Kiosk of Trajan and a large part of the Isis temple.
