The uniqueness of Kawkab al-Sharq was not only in her distinctive voice and creativity on stage, as she is the only woman for whom a museum was established in Egypt, consisting of several halls containing her various possessions. In honor of the role of the Lady of Arab Singing in the Egyptian and Arab conscience, the Egyptian Ministry of Culture decided to establish the "Umm Kulthum" museum, and in late April 1998, work began to equip it.

The museum, which was built in 1851, is located on the banks of the Nile in the Al-Rawda district of the Egyptian capital, Cairo. The Panorama Hall presents a collection of pictures of Umm Kulthum's different life stages, her films, artists, singers, and heads of Arab states. These pictures are accompanied by music by the artist Rageh Daoud, and the duration of this panorama is 10 minutes.
