The wells of Mut are located 3 kilometers from the city of "Mut", which is the capital of the Dakhla Oasis, and are considered a group of self-flowing wells, which originate from a depth of up to 1224 meters.

The wells of Mut are among the most important therapeutic wells whose water contains many mineral elements.

It treats rheumatism, psoriasis, incurable diseases, and body pain, so it is an area of ​​attraction for many visitors throughout the year, especially those looking for medical tourism.

The city of Mutt also includes many Pharaonic, Islamic, and Roman monuments, such as the Islamic village of Al-Qasr, which dates back to the Ayyubid era, which is a unique model of Islamic antiquities, and the Pharaonic village of Balat, which was built in the form of terraces dating back to the Sixth Dynasty BC, in addition to the Deir Al-Hajar temple that was built to worship The god Amun and his wife Mut, after whom the city was named.

It is worth noting that the Dakhla oases are among the most important oases in the Sahara Desert, and they belong to the New Valley Governorate and are located on the road between the Farafra Oasis in the north and the Kharga Oasis in the south, and contain more than 500 hot springs.
