After enjoying a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, you'll travel with our professional guide in a private air-conditioned car to see the Great Sphinx of Giza, which is from the dynasty of Chephren, and the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus, which are among the Seven Wonders of the World. Return to the hotel after the tour to overnight

After breakfast, you will meet your knowledgeable English-speaking Egyptologist guide to begin a day trip from Cairo to Alexandria as part of our Egypt Classic Tours. We will provide air-conditioned transportation for you from Cairo to Alexandria, and we will stop along the way for a break during the about 2.5-hour journey.

Finally, you will arrive in Alexandria, Egypt's second capital and the glorious jewel of the Mediterranean region. Alexander the Great, who founded the city in 332 BC and ruled Egypt, named it Alexandria.

You'll start your sightseeing at Pompey's Pillar, which was built in 297 BC in honor of an emperor named Diocletian following a rebellion in Alexandria. After that, you'll be transferred to the Catacombs of Kom El Shokkafa, which were discovered at the beginning of the 20th century and are thought to be one of the largest burial Roman places. Finally, you'll be in a prime location at the tip of a short peninsula that extends into the Eastern Port.

The Alexandrian Bibliotheca was one of the most important scientific research facilities in history. It was established by Ptolomy I in the third century BC and is located in the city of Alexandria, which is known for its historical ties to science. The library is a perfect example of how ancient scholars used the most advanced technology to explore the natural world.

After reaching Alexandria, you'll want to enjoy a seafood lunch. 

Finally, you will be driven back to your Cairo hotel.

After a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, travel by private air-conditioned van to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by a professional guide. Get there in a private air-conditioned vehicle that will take you to the world's largest open museum, the East Bank. Then, stop at the Karnak and Luxor Temples to see the gorgeous courtyards and granite statues of Ramesses II.

After the trip, you will be transferred to your hotel in Luxor for the night.

To visit the Valley of Kings and Queens, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon, you'll need a hearty breakfast after which you'll travel to the West Bank in a private air-conditioned vehicle.

After the tour, we will drive you to the airport in Luxor so you can catch your flight back to Cairo, our staff will greet you upon arrival at the airport. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Cairo in a private, air-conditioned vehicle.
Overnight in Cairo

After checking out of our hotel, our tour guide will take you to Cairo International Airport to catch your last departing flight.
