On these tours, you'll visit the Luxor West Bank and learn about mummification and all of the ancient Egyptian burial rituals while viewing the final stages of the royal tombs in ancient Egypt, which were carved into the western mountain that would later become known as the Valley of the Kings by the Pharaohs of the new kingdom. Continue your Luxor excursions as your guide takes you to see the Colossi of Memnon and to learn about the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a well-known female pharaoh in ancient Egyptian history. After lunch and afternoon tea on board, set sail for Edfu. On board, meals are served as guests listen to music in the lounge.

Next, you will travel to the Granite Quarries to see the largest Unfinished Obelisk, which some scholars believe was never finished because it was not finished before Queen Hatshepsut passed away. The Temple of Philae in Aswan, which was built in the Greco-Roman architectural style for the worship of Goddess Isis, will be your next stop on your Aswan tours.

Our tour guide will transfer you from the Luxor to Aswan Nile Cruise boat after breakfast to the Aswan airport, train station, or any other drop-off place required.
