When you arrive at Istanbul Airport for your Middle East tours Egypt, turkey and Jordan, we will be at the airport to welcome you, and to assist you in any way we can, and then we will drive you to your hotel where you will be staying for your first two nights in Istanbul.
Once at the hotel, we will assist you with check-In, and then we’ll discuss your tour itinerary with you. After this, you can then enjoy the rest of the day any way you want or simply retire to your room for some peace and quiet.
Your tour of Istanbul begins shortly after breakfast with a visit to the world-famous and absolutely magnificent Hagia Sophia mosque-cathedral which was built during the 4th century by Emperor Constantine. From here we head to the Blue Mosque which is also one of Istanbul’s most striking landmarks.
Next, is a visit to the old Hippodrome, a venue which was once used for chariot races, and then you will enjoy a visit to the famous and magnificent Topkapi Palace before rounding your tour off with a visit to Istanbul’s amazing Grand Bazaar where you can buy just about anything and every.
Finally, after a long day out, you will be dropped off back at your hotel, and you will then have the rest of the afternoon and the evening to yourself.
Check-out from your hotel after breakfast, and then you will be taken to the airport to board a flight to Cappadocia. On arrival in Cappadocia, you will be met by your tour guide, and then you will be taken to see the famous Devrent Valley and Pasabagi which is also known as Monk’s Valley.
Next, you will be taken to see some wonderful handicrafts which are all locally made.
A bit later in the day, you will also visit the amazing Goreme Open Air Museum, followed by a visit to the Uchisar Rock Castle.
With a fulfilled day of sightseeing now behind you, you will be taken to check in at the hotel where you will be staying for the night.
Shortly after breakfast, you will check-out from your hotel, and we will take you to the airport where you will then board a flight back to Istanbul where you will once again be met by one of our tour representatives, and then transferred to the hotel where you will be stay for your last night in Turkey. After check-in, you will be free to enjoy the rest of the day as you wish.
OPTIONAL: Enjoy a wonderful early morning Hot Air Balloon Ride over Cappadocia.
Today you will be flying to Cairo for the next stage of your Turkey, Egypt, and Jordan tour, then we will collect you from your hotel, and we will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight.
When you get to Cairo, your tour manager will meet you at the airport with one of our drivers, and they will take you directly to the hotel where you will be staying while you are in Cairo. After confirming a pick-up time for the following day’s tour, you will then have the rest of the day to yourself.
Enjoy a good hotel breakfast, and shortly after that, your Egyptologist tour guide and one of our drivers will collect you, and you will be taken for a really nice sightseeing tour which will include visiting the Giza Necropolis to see the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx. After your visit to the necropolis, you will be taken for some lunch, and then you will be driven to Saqqara to explore the ancient royal Saqqara necropolis which is best known for its Djoser Step-Pyramid, the very first pyramid ever built.
After Saqqara, you will continue on to Memphis, the capital of the Old Kingdom which today is best known for its ancient necropolis. Finally, you will be driven back to your hotel and you will have the rest of the day to yourself.
Enjoy another good breakfast, and then we will take you to visit the Egyptian Museum and its Treasures Room which houses all the artifacts that were found in the tomb of King Tutankhamun when it was opened during the early 20th century. Tickets can however be purchased on-site.
Next, you will be taken to see the imposing Saladin Citadel, including the spectacular Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque (Exterior and Interior).
From here you will move on to see the famous Hanging Church of Cairo and the Ben Ezra Synagogue before finally rounding off your day with a visit to the colorful and vibrant Khan el Khalili Bazaar. This huge bazaar has been open since the late 14th century, making it one of the oldest bazaars in the Middle East.
Will a full day of sightseeing behind you, you will be driven back to your hotel where you will be spending your last night in Cairo.
On this day you will fly to Aswan, so once you have had your breakfast you will have to check-out so that we can get you to the airport in time for your flight. When you arrive at the airport in Aswan, you will be met by one of our Egyptologist guides and a driver and you will be taken to see 3 remarkable sites: the Aswan High Dam; the Unfinished Obelisk, which is the largest obelisk ever discovered, and finally the magnificent ancient Temple of Philae.
After your tour, you will then be taken to the hotel where you will be spending this night of your vacation.
Today you will be checking out from your hotel very early because you will start the drive to the magnificent rock-carved Abu Simbel Temples. You will be given a “Breakfast Box” when you check out. The drive from Aswan to the temples takes about 3 hours, but you can be sure it is more than worth it because these are among the very best ancient temples in Egypt.
Built during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II, the two gigantic temples were built to serve as lasting monuments to himself and he beloved wife, Queen Nefertari, while also commemorating his victory at the Battle of Kadesh. Both temples were dedicated to the universal gods: Amun, Ra-Horakhty, Ptah, and to Ramses II himself. In short, words simply cannot accurately describe this incredible site.
Following your tour of the temples, you will then return to Aswan, and you will be taken to board your Nile River cruise shortly before lunch. Enjoy lunch, dinner, and a good night’s rest in your cabin on the water at Aswan.
Wake up to an excellent onboard breakfast, and then enjoy a wonderfully relaxing cruise to Kom Ombo. On arrival at Kom Ombo, you and the other members of your group will be taken to see Kom Ombo Temple which was originally built and dedicated to two gods, Haeroris the falcon headed god, and Sobek the crocodile god.
Return to the ship after your tour, and enjoy lunch on board while it sails to Edfu where you will enjoy another onshore excursion, this time to see the ancient Horus Temple, which is also sometimes called Edfu Temple.
On arrival back at your cruise ship following your tour, you will then have the remainder of the day free while it sails to Esna. Enjoy dinner and another peaceful night on the water in Esna.
Begin the 11th day of your Turkey, Egypt, and Jordan tour with a nice breakfast on the water while sailing to Luxor. When you reach Luxor, your tour guide will take you for your Luxor West Bank tour, and your first visit will be to the now famous Valley of the Kings, a vast royal necropolis where more than 60 ancient tombs have been discovered, including the tomb of King Tutankhamen.
Next, you will be taken to see another truly spectacular site, the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, after which you will enjoy a brief stop at the Colossi of Memnon on your way back to the ship.
Have lunch shortly of you arrive back on the boat, and then enjoy the rest of the day as you wish. The last night of your cruise will be spent on the water in Luxor.
Enjoy your breakfast on the ship, after which you will disembark, and you will be taken for a tour on the Luxor East Bank to see two incredible ancient monuments: Luxor Temple and the vast ruins of Karnak which was once a temple city that grew over a period of more than 2,000 years.
With your East bank tour now over, you will be taken to the airport where you will board a flight to Sharm El Sheikh when you will once again be met and driven to your hotel. No further activities are scheduled for this day, so you can spend the afternoon as you wish.
The 13th day of your Turkey, Egypt, Jordan tour is unlike any other, in that you will be heading to the beautiful Ras Mohammed National Park where you will have the opportunity to enjoy some truly unforgettable snorkeling in the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea. Alternatively, you are welcome to just enjoy some swimming and relaxing instead, with lunch being served on board the boat.
Later in the day, you will be driven back to your hotel in Sharm where you will have some more leisure time for yourself.
The 14th day of your Turkey, Egypt and Jordan vacation has been reserved for leisure and relaxation time in Sharm El Sheikh, which is why no tours or excursions are scheduled.
OPTIONAL: Enjoy a wonderful tour to the old Monastery of St. Catherine which is located on the slopes of Gebel Musa, or Mount Moses.
The last phase of your magical Turkey, Egypt, Jordan tour begins today, so at the appropriate time, we will pick you up, and we will take you to the airport in time for you to catch your flight to Amman in Jordan. When you land at the airport in Amman we will of course be there to meet you and to transfer you to the hotel where you will be staying for the remainder of your tour.
There are no tours scheduled for today, so once you have checked in and we have confirmed a pick-up time for the following day, you will have the rest of the day to yourself.
Enjoy breakfast as usual, and then we will fetch you, and we’ll make our way to Madaba where we will visit St. George’s Church in Madaba to see an incredible mosaic 6th-century map of Palestine.
Next, we’ll head for Mount Nebo, also known as Moses Mount because it is believed that it was here that Moses was first shown the Promised Land.
After visiting Mount Nebo, it will be time for a visit to the Dead Sea which is the lowest point on earth. Spend your after relaxing or floating on the water, or even enjoy a special beauty treatment, and then as evening approaches, we will drive you back to your hotel in Amman.
Today is likely to be one of the top highlights of your tour because today we will be visiting the Lost City of Petra, one of the most amazing archeological sites in the world. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes for this tour because it does involve quite a bit of walking. Petra is an old city which was carved out of the sides of a deep and often narrow gorge. One of the most striking features at the site is a place call the Treasury which is located at the far end of the site, roughly 1km from the entrance to the gorge. In short, if there is one place in Jordan you cannot afford to miss, this is it.
After your tour, you will then return to your hotel where you will be spending the last night of your Turkey, Egypt, Jordan Tour adventure.
