Itinerary

When you arrive in Aswan, one of our tour representatives and a driver will welcome you at the airport or train station and transport you to the luxurious MS Salacia Nile cruise ship. You will be offered your first onboard meal shortly after being checked in, and later that afternoon, one of our Egyptologist tour guides will take you on a tour of three major Aswan tourist destinations.

The Aswan High Dam and Lake Nasser will be your first stops. After that, you'll visit the old granite quarry to witness the gigantic Unfinished Obelisk, and then you'll see the ancient Temple of Philae. You will return to the ship after your tour and enjoy the rest of the day to yourself. In your waterside cabin at Aswan, spend the first night of your MS Salacia Nile trip.

Meals Included: Lunch and Dinner

Start your day off well with a delicious breakfast aboard the ship, and then enjoy the remainder of the morning as you like. Your MS Salacia Nile Cruise will depart Aswan at midday and sail to Kom Ombo, where your guide will take you on an additional onshore excursion. This week, you'll go to the magnificent Temple of Kom Ombo, which is actually two temples in one.

After your visit to the temple, return to the boat and spend the rest of the day as you wish while the cruise makes its way to Edfu. In your cabin on the water at Edfu, enjoy the last night of your MS Salacia Nile Cruise.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Your guide will take you to Edfu Temple shortly after breakfast today. It is also known as the Temple of Horus, and it is the best-preserved ancient Egyptian temple ever unearthed, having been buried for more than 2,000 years beneath the desert sand.

You will return to the cruise ship after exploring the Temple, and the ship will then sail to Luxor, with lunch served along the route. Because there are no more trips planned for today, you will enjoy the entire afternoon to yourself. In the evening, after dinner, there will be an authentic Egyptian Belly Dance Show. This time at Luxor, get another comfortable night's sleep on the water.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

You'll have one more breakfast on board before checking out and disembarking, after which you'll have two more tours, one on the Luxor East Bank and one on the Luxor West Bank.

First, you'll go to the East Bank to see two of Egypt's most popular ancient sites: Luxor Temple and the enormous ruins of Karnak Temple, which were built over a 2,500-year period. After that, you'll travel to the West Bank. You'll go to the Valley of the Kings, an ancient royal burial area with more than 60 rock-cut tombs, including Tutankhamun's and Pharaoh Ramses VI's tombs.

Following your visit to this eternal necropolis, you will be taken to view Queen Hatshepsut's stunning rock-cut mortuary temple, followed by a quick stop at the Colossi of Memnon. We offer the most secure means of payment You can use different purchase methods. - Credit card: Enter the details of your credit card on the payment link provided ONLY by your personal tour consultant from Cairo Top Tours. - Bank transfer: if you are booking your holiday at least 30 days before the departure date. In this case, the bank transfer must be made within 2 working days of purchase. - By phone: this option only applies for last-minute bookings on the same day or the day before and works only with the day tours, half-day tours, and activities that are not more than one day tour.
It can happen when only a few seats are available and many customers book the offer at the same time. But remember, you can always ask to join a group tour if available, this option will guarantee the reduction of the tour pricing as we mostly deal with private guided tours to assure the highest quality of service.
The proportionately higher prices for people traveling alone (Solo Travelers) mostly result from the higher overnight-room costs, as normally almost all hotel rooms are structured for 2 people who can each assume half of the overnight costs. This also applies to flat-rate travel. The hotels would not benefit from offering a reduction to solo travelers when the rooms could be occupied by 2 persons at a normal price. During the low season, some hotels lower the prices as a reason for the decreased demand since they have a large number of beds when the demand is not too high.
Prices vary throughout the year depending on the offer and request. During the summer and especially during the holidays that are considered high seasons like the Christma and New Year holidays, Easter holidays, and special events such as sports championship or destinations that are very popular and recent. Therefore tour operators can demand higher prices according to the increasing cost of accommodation and/ or implementation.
Most trips can also be booked for a shorter or longer period. However, if, for example, your departure time is changed, trips lasting 5 or 10 days will not be possible, that’s why we always request the flight details before proceeding with the booking, just to make sure the last suggested itinerary is fit for both the traveler and the operator.
From the date of booking until 46 days before your arrival date, 10% of the entire tour price will be charged. Between 45 and 31 days before your arrival date, 20% of the entire tour price will be charged. Between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged. Between 14 and 1 days before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.
