5 Days Nile Cruise Tour from Luxor to Aswan

You will meet your tour guide after a delicious breakfast on board the MS Royal Viking Nile Cruise to start your tour to the West Bank in Luxor with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, which is one of the most beautiful sites in Luxor, containing the royal tombs of our great kings. The first king to be buried there was King Tutmosis I from the 18th Dynasty.

Then you continue your Luxor West Bank tour by visiting the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which is also known as the Temple of El Deir El Bahari in modern times. After that, you will see the Colossi of Memnon, and these are two incredibly large statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III.

After finishing the Visit Your tasty lunch will be served aboard the Luxor to Aswan Nile Cruise, and then you will enjoy sailing to Edfu. Your delicious dinner will be served in the evening, and you'll spend the night on the Nile Cruise in Edfu.

After enjoying the previous two days of Luxor sightseeing tours, you will now take pleasure in a delicious breakfast on board the Nile Cruise, and you will be joined by your knowledgeable tour guide to make one of the most fascinating stops possible. 

The journey begins with a visit to Edfu to see the Temple of Edfu, which is one of the largest in Egypt (the largest after the Karnak Temple) and one of the best-preserved in the country. Then you will get back to the cruise ship to enjoy an enchanting sailing time to the south until you reach Kom Ombo. 

Next, you will visit the Kom Ombo Temple, which was built between 1350 and 180 BC. It was built by order of King Ramesses II.

After completing your tour in Kom Ombo and Edfu, the boat will sail towards Aswan. You will enjoy a delicious dinner, entertainment, and local music on the cruise.

You will have breakfast on your Egypt Nile cruise before meeting your private tour guide for your Aswan Excursions. Here is an overview of the activities:

First, You will visit the High Dam, which was constructed to protect Egypt from the annual floods of the Nile River. This important structure has prevented the wastage of water and the flooding of Egypt. Aswan, the southernmost city in Egypt, is located near the first Nile waterfall, approximately one thousand kilometers away from Cairo.

Next, you will visit The Unfinished Obelisk granite quarries where ancient Egyptians used to cut and transport granite for the construction of the great pyramids, temples, pillars, and obelisks during the Old Kingdom of Egypt. One of the most notable attractions in Egypt is the Unfinished Obelisk, showcasing the craftsmanship and engineering techniques of ancient Egyptians.

Following that you will visit the Philae Temple, which was built in the Greco-Roman style. This temple was dedicated to the worship of the goddess Isis and is one of the four sites associated with the legend of Isis, Osiris, and Horus.

After the temple visit, you will be transferred back to the cruise ship to enjoy a delicious lunch. The afternoon will be free for you to explore Aswan at your leisure. In the evening, a high-quality dinner will be prepared and served on the cruise boat. You will also have the opportunity to watch an interesting Nubian show. Overnight accommodation will be provided in Aswan.

After finishing your final breakfast and checking out of the Luxor Aswan Nile cruise boat, we will take you to the Aswan location you requested for drop-off, such as the Airport or the Train Station.
