MS Semiramis II Easter Nile Cruise Vacation

After breakfast on board the Egyptian Nile cruise, you'll begin your Luxor day tours and visit the highlights of Luxor's West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings. This famous site is home to most of the tombs of the New Kingdom pharaohs, and you'll be amazed by the well-preserved colorful frescoes, especially the trial scene, where you'll see countless gods such as the god Osiris in the afterlife, the goddess Maat, the goddess of justice, and Anubis, the god of the necropolis in ancient Egypt.

Next, you'll visit the Hatshepsut Temple or El Deir El Bahari Temple. It is a group of Pharaonic temples and tombs located on the West Bank from the Nile opposite the city of Luxor, Egypt. 

At the end of your Luxor excursions, you'll tour the Colossi of Memnon, two gigantic seated stone statues representing the pharaoh Amenhotep III.

Enjoy a tasty open-buffet lunch and dinner aboard your Nile cruise boat while sailing to Edfu. You'll spend the night aboard the Nile cruise ship. If you want to experience a morning hot air balloon ride in Luxor, your personal tour guide can arrange it for you (optional activity).

After having your breakfast aboard the Nile cruise, we will start the Kom Ombo and Edfu tour to visit the Horus Temple, also known as the Edfu Temple. The god Horus was the Egyptian god of the sky and was the son of Isis and Osiris, identified with a man's body with a head of a hawk. After that, we will sail to Kom Ombo to visit the Kom Ombo Temple, which was built for the crocodile-shaped god Sobek from one entrance, while the other entrance was dedicated to Haroeris with its falcon head. It was constructed during the Ptolemaic dynasty.

You'll sail to Aswan while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Nile River.

After having a gourmet breakfast, you'll start your Aswan day tours by visiting two sites. First, you'll visit the Aswan High Dam, which was established in the 60s of the last century by President Nasser to save Egypt from the floods that happened every year. This is one of the top excursions in Aswan.

Next, you'll continue your Aswan tours to visit the Philae Temple, one of the most impressive temples of ancient Egypt. Its amazing stones and engravings have been preserved for thousands of years to tell us about the grandeur of our ancestors.

Afterward, we'll transfer you back to the Luxor to Aswan Nile Cruise, and you'll enjoy your lunch and dinner on board. You'll spend the night onboard your Egypt Nile River Cruise in Aswan.
