8 Days Desert Safari Trip to Western Desert

After a nice breakfast 

Our adventure begins with a journey to the Sugar Loaf area, where you'll be awed by the towering rock formations and breathtaking vistas that offer a spectacular view of the surrounding desert landscape.

Next, we'll visit the Mud Lions, a unique geological formation that resembles a group of lions sitting majestically on a hillside. You'll have the opportunity to climb the hills and explore the intricate patterns and textures of the mudstone that make up these stunning sculptures.

Enjoy stargazing at night and a delicious dinner meal before sleeping in the camp.

After you wake up and have breakfast

We'll board a comfortable 4x4 expedition vehicle and set off on an exhilarating drive to El Gilf El Kebir, a remote plateau renowned for its extraordinary archaeological wonders and stunning landscapes. 

Visit the Cave of Swimmers, famous for its ancient rock paintings dating back thousands of years.

Leaving El Gilf El Kebir behind, we'll make our way to the enchanting Wadi Assib. Brace yourself for a mesmerizing experience as we hike through this narrow gorge, surrounded by towering sandstone cliffs adorned with ancient petroglyphs and inscriptions.

Our adventure begins at Aqaba Path, a hidden gem nestled along the stunning coastline. Embark on a leisurely hike through the rugged terrain, surrounded by panoramic views of the Red Sea.

Next on our itinerary is Swimmer's Cave, a magical grotto accessible only by sea. A short boat ride will lead you to this secret enclave, where you'll be greeted by the sight of a natural sea cave carved into the cliffs.

Lastly, our expedition leads us to the enchanting Wadi Sura, also known as the "Valley of the Inscriptions." This historical wonder takes you with its ancient rock art, dating back thousands of years.

Our following station will be at the Mestekawi Cave which was found in 2002 by an Egyptian-Italian tourist group.

Throughout this day, you'll be treated to delectable local cuisine, providing a true taste of the region's culinary delights.

As we start our adventure, we'll be setting up our campsite amidst the tranquil surroundings of Wadi Abd El Malik. The calmness of the desert will envelop us as we settle into our cozy tents, preparing for an incredible experience under the starry night sky.

Tomorrow, we will delve deeper into the heart of Wadi Abd El Malik, uncovering its hidden treasures. Our knowledgeable guides will lead us to the most stunning viewpoints, offering breathtaking panoramas of the vast desert landscape below.

Welcome to the breathtaking Silica Glass Area in Wadi Abd El Malik! Nestled amidst the rugged beauty of the Egyptian desert, this unique location is a true wonder of nature that will leave you awe-inspired.

you'll be greeted by vast stretches of golden sand dunes that seem to stretch infinitely into the horizon. But what sets this place apart is the scattered, glistening fragments of silica glass that shimmer under the scorching sun.

Finally, we will begin camping in the Silica Glass area and spend the rest of the day drinking tea and eating dinner with the local Bedouins in the peace and quiet of the desert. 

Enjoy a dip in the warm water or some meditation before continuing the beautiful safari towards Ain Dalla water spring, one of the most beautiful and soothing natural water springs in Egypt that are surrounded by palm trees from all directions.

Then we'll set up camp in the same area and spend the rest of the day drinking tea and eating dinner with the local Bedouins in the peace and quiet of the desert.

Today, after our early morning breakfast, we will begin our journey back to Cairo after spending 7 incredible days on safari in El Gilf El Kebir.
