Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by your tour guide/driver and transferred to your hotel in Giza in an air-conditioned vehicle. After checking in, review the next day's itinerary and enjoy a welcome drink before resting for the night.
Begin with an early breakfast, then visit the Giza Pyramids: the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Pyramid of King Chephren, the Sphinx, and King Mycerinus. Optional camel rides and a visit to the Valley Temple are available. Next, explore Memphis City and Saqqara necropolis, including the Step Pyramid and ancient tombs. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel in Giza.
After breakfast, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum to see artifacts including those of Tutankhamun. Tour the Citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali. Explore Coptic Cairo, including the Roman fortress of Babylon, the Hanging Church, the Church of St. Sergius, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. After lunch, wander through Khan El Khalili bazaar and the Islamic Cairo district. Return to your hotel.
After breakfast, travel to Alexandria with your guide. Visit Pompey’s Pillar, the catacombs of Kom El Shokkafa, and the Citadel of Qaitbay. Explore the Bibliotheca of Alexandria and enjoy a seafood lunch before returning to your hotel in Cairo.
