Day Tour From El-Gouna to Giza Pyramids, El-Rifai, and Sultan Hassan Mosques

You will be picked up from your hotel in El-Gouna where our tour leader will be waiting for you with a private air-conditioned vehicle to head directly to our first destination; Giza Necropolis. We will start off our day with an in-depth tour of the area exploring the symbols of Egypt: the three Great Pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the valley temple of Khafra, as well as enjoying a camel ride around the area.

After leaving the Pyramid area, we will head to a near local restaurant to have lunch, then we will proceed to our next destination; Citadel square, where we find the two mamluke masterpieces: El-Rifai, and Sultan Hassan Mosques. We will explore the two mosques and their instruction history.

And by the end of your trip, you will be transferred back to your hotel in El-Gouna.

13. Why is travel proportionally more expensive for one person?

The proportionately higher prices for people traveling alone (Solo Travelers) mostly result from the higher overnight-room costs, as normally almost all hotel rooms are structured for 2 people who can each assume half of the overnight costs. This also applies to flat-rate travel. The hotels would not benefit from offering a reduction to solo travelers when the rooms could be occupied by 2 persons at a normal price.
