Considering that Ambience is over thirty years old, its deck plans aren't particularly innovative, but they function well and make things simple to locate.
Ambiance has eleven passenger decks that are crammed with eateries, bars, and entertainment areas.
Entering Deck 5, passengers find themselves in the center of the ship's three-story atrium, or "Centre Court." Furnished with light wood furniture and warm green hues, it lacks an elaborate chandelier but has a grand central staircase, lots of seating, and other amenities to make it the center of the ship for most of the day.
There are six places to eat at Ambassador's Ambience, including the Buckingham Restaurant on Deck 7, which serves main meals, and Borough Market, a buffet on Deck 12.
Alfresco Grill, Saffron Sea & Grass (all on Deck 12), and Chef's Table—which provides a specialty culinary experience—are among the alternatives available for a price.
Ambiance offers several daytime and nighttime entertainment options, including the Ambassador Casino on Deck 6 and the Aces & Eights bridge and card room. Deck 6 has additional amenities such as Bronte's library, Kapoor's, an onboard handicraft studio, and the shopping galleria.
Deck 14 is the Observatory, while Decks 7 and 8 are the Palladium, where you may find nighttime entertainment. The Purple Turtle Pub is located on Deck 8, and Raffles Bar, Botanical Lounge, and SW19 are located on Deck 7.
The sun deck and pool are located on Deck 12 and 14 (there is no Deck 13). Ambassador Cruise Line renovated the hardwood decks, two hot tubs, swimming pool, and the recognizable funnel, which is painted the line's signature purple color, during its makeover. The aft features some nice hidden locations with lounge chairs and cabanas to have some quiet time, although it can be quite a busy site on a bright day (particularly when events are taking place).
Except for Promenade Deck 7, which is home to the main dining restaurant and several bars, all categories of cabins are located on Decks 4 through 11.
For easier access to the Borough Market and Buckingham Restaurant, the cabins located at the aft of the ship are the best choice. Notwithstanding this, Ambience is quite straightforward to navigate because of the three sets of elevators scattered throughout (each with a peculiar design dating back to its Pacific Dawn days).
