Itinerary

Our representative will greet you upon your arrival at Luxor airport, after which you will be transferred to the cruise. Embarkation will be before lunch, and you will take your lunch on board the cruise. Today's program will begin with a visit to the Luxor temple. The temple was founded in 4400 BC and built from sandstone blocks brought from southwest Egypt. You will then visit the Karnak temple, featuring a vast mix of decayed temples and chapels, as well as pylons and other buildings.

The breakfast meal today will be also available on the MS Jaz Jubilee Nile cruise board. You will then have the opportunity to cross to the west bank of the Nile to visit the Colossi of Memnon. The colossi are two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have been standing in this necropolis for the past 3400 years. They are located across the Nile River from the modern city of Luxor. Afterward, you will visit the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens. There, you will be able to visit Hatshepsut temple which is located under the cliffs on the west bank of the Nile. Additionally, the temple is situated close to the Valley of the Kings in Egypt. Once we have finished exploring the temple, we will return to the cruise. You will be able to have lunch on the cruise while sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight accommodations will also be provided on the cruise.

The breakfast today will be held on the MS Jaz Jubilee Nile cruise board. Afterward, we will visit the beautifully preserved Horus temple. It is the best preserved of all Egyptian temples built by the Ptolemy's. We will then return to the cruise board to have lunch while sailing to Kom Ombo. At Kom Ombo, we will visit the temple of Sobek the crocodile god situated on the riverbank. We will then return to the cruise and sail to Aswan.

The breakfast meal will be served today on board the MS Jaz Jubilee Nile cruise. Afterward, we will visit the Aswan High Dam. The dam is an embankment dam situated across the Nile River in Aswan. Next, we will tour the Unfinished Obelisk. The obelisk is located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt in Aswan. We will then return to the Nile cruise for lunch. In fact, lunch will be served on board the cruise as well. Later in the afternoon, we will sail on the Nile by traditional Nile boat along the shores of Elephantine.  In fact, we will visit the Philae temple there. The temple is located at Philae Island which was a rocky island in the middle of the Nile river.

The island known as Apo in Hieroglyphic, meaning Ivory, was an important center of trade due to its abundance of ivory. The Ancient Egyptians built a beautiful temple on the island in honor of the goddess Isis. However, the temple became submerged after the construction of the first dam in 1906. You will return to the Nile cruise board for dinner and spend the night.

After breakfast, we will disembark the cruise and take a transfer to Aswan airport for your flight home.

The proportionately higher prices for people traveling alone (Solo Travelers) mostly result from the higher overnight-room costs, as normally almost all hotel rooms are structured for 2 people who can each assume half of the overnight costs. This also applies to flat-rate travel. The hotels would not benefit from offering a reduction to solo travelers when the rooms could be occupied by 2 persons at a normal price. During the low season, some hotels lower the prices as a reason for the decreased demand since they have a large number of beds when the demand is not too high.
Prices vary throughout the year depending on the offer and request. During the summer and especially during the holidays that are considered high seasons like the Christma and New Year holidays, Easter holidays, and special events such as sports championship or destinations that are very popular and recent. Therefore tour operators can demand higher prices according to the increasing cost of accommodation and/ or implementation.
Most trips can also be booked for a shorter or longer period. However, if, for example, your departure time is changed, trips lasting 5 or 10 days will not be possible, that’s why we always request the flight details before proceeding with the booking, just to make sure the last suggested itinerary is fit for both the traveler and the operator.
From the date of booking until 46 days before your arrival date, 10% of the entire tour price will be charged. Between 45 and 31 days before your arrival date, 20% of the entire tour price will be charged. Between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged. Between 14 and 1 days before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.
