11-Day Egypt Itinerary

After having your pleasant breakfast at your hotel, your Egyptologist tour guide will meet you at the hotel to start your Egypt Travel Packages by touring the most interesting site in Egypt, Starting with the Giza Pyramids tours, where you get to see the Great Pyramid of Cheops that was built almost 4500 years ago and it is considered the uniquely remaining wonder of the old seven wonders of the ancient world. The middle pyramid of King Chephren which is the second pyramid on the Giza plateau has been built smaller than his father's pyramid in respect, but it looks bigger because it was built on a higher ground level than you will see the pyramid of King Mecerinus, the smallest pyramid which was constructed for the burial of one of the last pharaohs of the 4th dynasty, King Mycerinus who ended a great era of the building of the pyramids. Wander around the area of Giza Necropolis to traverse the most gigantic sphinx in Egypt, the Great Sphinx of Giza which was carved into the rock taking the shape of a lion's body with a human´s head to signify both strength and intelligence. You will have sufficient time to ride a camel and take photos to remember these delightful Cairo day trips.

Continue your Egyptian Museum tour which is located in Cairo Downtown and it was founded in 1902 to display the beautiful artifacts and masterpieces of ancient Egyptian pharaohs including the recently discovered tombs with all it magnificent gold and silver items, wooden coffins, sarcophagi, and papyri scrolls. More than 120,000 of the everyday life tools and accessories used by ancient Egyptians, in addition to huge statues, and King Tutankhamun's golden collection.

You will then have lunch in a good quality restaurant and continue to enjoy the Coptic Cairo tour

You will be transferred by your private guide and professional driver to this historic part which is famous by the name Coptic Cairo, which comprises the oldest churches in Coptic history in the Middle-East. It is thought that the Holy Family took shelter in this area along with other areas in the Nile valley while fleeing from the persecution.

We will take you to visit the Hanging Church which is dedicated to the Holy Virgin Mary and it is called in Arabic Al Moallaqa which is translated in English as the hanging or the suspended church because it has no foundations, and they built it on top of an old Roman fortress of Babylon, and the Abu Serga Church

Then you will walk a short distance to visit this amazing church, which is one of the oldest and most important churches in Egypt that marks the holy family visit to this area.

Finally, our Egyptologist guide will take you to see the ancient Jewish Synagogue of Ben Ezra:

Which used to be a Coptic church then it was purchased by a Jewish man from Jerusalem who converted it into Synagogue bearing his name, then your friendly guide will take your hotel.

After having your delicious breakfast, you will be escorted by your Egyptologist guide to transfer to the White Desert:

The name of the white Desert comes from the limestone and layer of chalk that partially covers all the white desert land. It is very white, wizard, and charming even at night. You will see the golden sand dunes and the salt lake and enjoy the green and lush date palm groves because the oasis is known for the palm trees and fruit gardens! then we travel to the White Desert, passing through the Black Desert:

This name for the black desert came cause of the presence of a layer of black powder covering its mountains because of erupted a dark volcanic material called dolerite, and the Valley of El Haize:

about 50km to the south of Bawiti, the central village of Bahariya Oasis.

Stop to see the quartz crystal at Crystal Mountain:

It`s located about 160 km from Baharyia oasis, and it`s called also the jewel of the desert because it`s consists of more than 12 types of crystal.  and the fabulous Valley of Agabat. It's a great thing to camp in the White Desert. Enjoy your delicious dinner during the marvelous sunset.

Get your breakfast in the desert before the end of your White Desert tour, you will transfer to enjoy the hot water springs area where you can see many beautiful things like Mushrooms, chicken, rabbits, trees, and tents and you will enjoy taking some pictures for the wonderful limestone rocks and formations. then return back to Bahariya Oasis. Get ready and our tour leader will escort you by an exclusive air-conditioned vehicle from Bahariya to your hotel in Cairo and overnight.

After taking your breakfast, you will transfer to Cairo International Airport to catch your flight to Aswan, upon arrival at Aswan Airport, our delegate will meet and assist you into the airport then you will meet your English-speaking tour guide to start your Aswan sightseeing tours to see the Aswan High Dam:

It was built by one of our ex-presidents his name Gamal Abdel Nasser, who start to build it in 1960 and completed it in 1971 to protect Egypt from the floods and it saves the electric power for the country. then a visit to Philae Temple:

It was built dedicated to worshiping the Goddess Isis, and it was one of the last residual temples where the ancient Egyptian religion was practiced after the spreading of Christianity in Egypt. After that, you will transfer to your hotel in Aswan for check-in and overnight.

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, then you will check out and meet your tour guide to start your visit to explore the Temple of Edfu:

It was built to worship the falcon God Horus, and it was built during the greco_roman period from sandstone blocks. Then continue driving to transfer you to your hotel in Luxor for overnight.

It was built on the East Bank of the River Nile by King Amenhotep III during the new kingdom about 3400 years ago and the construction was completed by King Ramses II, then visit Luxor Museum:

It was opened to the public in 1975, inside this great museum you will enjoy watching the ancient Egyptian artifacts, especially of King Amenhotep III, in addition, to Coptic monuments from the 5th century and also Islamic pieces from the mamluk time. Transfer back to your hotel in Luxor overnight.

Enjoy your breakfast, then you will transfer to see the most interesting sites by visiting the Luxor West Bank Tour. First, you will see the Colossi of Memnon:

they are built for King Amenhotep III which, during his reign, Egypt witnessed great prosperity in art and economics, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut:

It was built by the strongest woman who ruled Egypt in the ancient time, Queen Hatshepsut, and during your tour there, you will know more about this great queen and the dispute between her and her son in law Tuthmosis III who destroyed most of her statues. Then transfer to see the greatness Valley of the Kings:

the ancient pharaohs' Kings used this place to bury themselves and to be their entrance to the other world, this great place contains more than 70 tombs for the great kings, the most famous tomb related to the king Tutankhamen because his tomb was completely found with all his treasures. Then you will transfer to Hurghada for check-in at your hotel for overnight.
