Upon arrival in Aswan, a tour representative and driver will welcome you and transport you to the luxurious MS Salacia Nile cruise ship. After a meal, you'll be guided on a tour of three major Aswan tourist destinations: Aswan High Dam, Lake Nasser, an old granite quarry, and the ancient Temple of Philae.

Enjoy a satisfying breakfast on board the ship to get your day off to a great start, and then take the rest of the morning as you want. After lunch, your guide will take you on an extended onshore trip from Kom Ombo, where your MS Salacia Nile Cruise will depart Aswan. You'll visit the amazing Temple of Kom Ombo this week, which combines two temples.
Once you've finished your tour of the temple, head back to the boat and enjoy the remainder of the day as the cruise continues into Edfu. Spend your final night on the MS Salacia Nile Cruise relaxing in your cabin on the water at Edfu.

Soon after breakfast today, your guide will take you to Edfu Temple. Also referred to as the Temple of Horus, it is the best-preserved ancient Egyptian temple ever discovered, having lain beneath the sands of a desert for over 2,000 years.
After touring the Temple, you will return to the cruise ship, where lunch will be provided as you travel to Luxor. There aren't any more trips scheduled for today, so you have the whole afternoon to yourself. A genuine Egyptian belly dance show will take place in the evening following dinner. Get another restful night's sleep on the water in Luxor this time.

Before checking out and disembarking, you'll enjoy one more breakfast on board. Following that, you'll have two more tours: one on the Luxor East Bank and one on the Luxor West Bank.
The journey brings you to the famed ancient Egyptian sites of Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple on the East Bank. You will see Queen Hatshepsut's funerary temple and the Valley of the Kings, an old royal burial place with over sixty tombs, both in the West Bank.
