3-Day Christmas Short Break in Cairo

Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel. Meet your tour guide and depart for the Giza Pyramids area.

Visit the Giza Pyramids complex and see the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure. Your guide will explain the history and construction of the pyramids. You can take photos overlooking the entire complex. Ride a camel for a scenic view (optional).

See the Valley Temple and Sphinx near Khafre's pyramid. Your guide will explain the symbolic significance of the Sphinx.

Have lunch overlooking the pyramids.

Proceed to Saqqara to see the Step Pyramid complex built by Imhotep for Djoser. See the ruins of the Heb Sed court and enter the Pyramid of Teti and the tomb of Kagemni with their well-preserved paintings.

Visit Mit Rahina, the site of ancient Memphis. See the open-air museum with artifacts and statues of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis.

Return to the hotel after

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel to start your Egypt day tours in Cairo.

Visit the Egyptian Museum for around 2 hours. See the extensive collection of over 120,000 artifacts spanning Egypt's entire history. Highlights include the King Tutankhamun collection and the treasures of Yuya and Tuya.

Proceed to the Salah El Din Citadel. Visit the Citadel and the alabaster Mosque inside, built by Mohamed Ali in Turkish architectural style. The Citadel itself dates back to the 12th century and was constructed by Saladin.

You will be transferred to the airport or your desired location in Cairo after the tours conclude.
