It was built by Ramses II around 1250 BCE as part of his funerary complex.

Ramses was a great Pharoah who was the son of king Seti I, and the owner of the famous battle of Qadesh with the Hittites who defeated them completely which made them ask for the most famous peace treaty in Ancient History.

Then we'll head to Karnak Temple, believed to be the most significant religious complex ever built in the world. It's also the site of many festivals including the Opet Festival and Feast of Min. It is located on the east bank of Thebes (Luxor), on the western shore of the Nile River. The temples were built by pharaohs of the New Kingdom, who were dedicated to Amon-Re, god of gods and king of kings, and his wife Mut, goddess of love and war. It includes an enormous hypostyle hall with 134 columns and a massive outer court with more than 2,000 columns.

In the early morning and after breakfast, you will be transferred to the west bank of Luxor for the Hot Air Balloon tour. Today, you'll be treated to an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings, where you can get an incredible view of the surrounding desert landscape.
