Your day trip from El Gouna to the Great Pyramids, Memphis, and Saqqara will take you on a journey through history and culture.

You will be picked up from your hotel in El Gouna by your private driver and taken to the airport. The flight takes approximately one hour. Upon landing, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo where you can relax before the tour begins.

Your first stop will be the Great Pyramids of Giza, which are among the most famous man-made structures in human history. They were built over 4,000 years ago by the order of Pharaohs Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure as a tomb. They are considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the Pyramid of Khufu (also known as the Great Pyramid) is the oldest and largest of the three.

After visiting them, you'll travel to Memphis on the west bank of the Nile River in Egypt where you'll learn about this city's role in ancient Egypt's development as an empire. You'll also see its necropolis (where royal mummies were buried), its temple of Apis (the sacred bull god), and its Roman Theater.

Finally, you'll head south to Saqqara to see some of Egypt's most important pyramids—including those belonging to King Unas and Queen Meretseger—as well as other tombs dating back thousands. The most famous landmark there is The Step Pyramid of Djoser.

After these three highlights, we will return back to the hotel in El Gouna.

Memphis was a very important place in ancient Egypt. It was where the kings lived and where the government did important work. It was also a special place for the gods. There are lots of old things left over from that time, like buildings and temples. The Temple of Ptah is one of the most important ones.
