This museum has a lot of sarcophagi from different dynasties, including those discovered inside the tomb of the golden Pharaoh Tutankhamun.
Tutankhamun was a great pharaoh of ancient kings who died young but is remembered throughout the ages for his wealth and the extraordinary possessions in his tomb. We'll continue by moving to the Citadel of Salah El-Din, a unique and famous medieval fort occupying a central location in Islamic Cairo. With fascinating views of the whole beautiful area and hundreds of minarets and domes.
The Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali is a beautiful place to visit, and it's only one stop on our tour of Cairo. The mosque was founded by a Turkish architect in 1805, and it looks very similar to the Blue Mosque in Istanbul. The ruler of Egypt at the time, Mohamed Ali Basha, made many reforms to the country in different fields, and the mosque is a perfect example of his work.
