As the ship cruises north to the Kom Ombo temple after breakfast on your Egyptian Nile cruise, you will start on one of the most fascinating Egypt Day activities, the Kom Ombo and Edfu excursion. We'll go to a Ptolemaic temple dedicated to the god Sobek and Haroeris, one of the forms of the sky god Horus venerated in this region. After everyone has had time to visit the temple, your boat will set sail towards Edfu, where you will be served a sumptuous buffet lunch.

After arriving in Edfu, a horse-drawn carriage will transport you to the ancient Horus temple, followed by a boat ride to Esna, where you may enjoy afternoon tea. Another delectable dinner will be served on board in the evening. After your visit to Edfu, you will spend the night on your Nile cruise in Esna, where you will be entertained by a beautiful Egyptian Galabeya festival.

Disembark to begin your day trip to Luxor, which will take you to the famous Valley of Kings, where several New Kingdom kings and pharaohs, including Ramses the Great, Tutmosis |||, and the golden pharaoh Tutankhamen, were buried to rest in peace, and whose tomb was discovered completely intact in 1922, making it one of Egypt's most successful excavations.

Your next visit is the spectacular Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of Luxor's most famous attractions. Then, before returning to the ship for lunch, you will be taken to see the ancient Colossi of Memnon, which was built for King Amenhotep III.

We will continue our explorations in Luxor by visiting the vast Karnak Temple complex, followed by the incredibly well-preserved Temple of Luxor. Enjoy a sumptuous meal and spend another night on board the cruise liner after a fantastic day tour to Luxor on both the east and west banks.

This is the fourth and final day of your four-day journey from Aswan to Luxor. After breakfast, it will be time to disembark from the Nile cruise. Depending on your preferences, a Cairo Top Tours guide will transport you to Luxor International Airport, the train station, or a Luxor hotel.
