Day Trip to Giza Pyramids, El-Refai, and Sultan Hassan Mosques.
A guided, in-depth tour to explore Egypt's most significant tourist attraction sites and enjoy the glory of both pharaonic and Islamic Egypt. Starting with the symbol of Egypt; the great pyramids of Giza: Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure to the monumental examples of Mamluke architecture and engineering in the Citadel square: Sultan Hassan mosque, with its massive hall of worship, and El-Refai mosque, with its highly ornate Mamluk style.
We will pick you up from your hotel where our tour guide will be waiting for you with an air-conditioned vehicle to start off your day by visiting one of the seventh wonders of the ancient world; the Giza pyramids.
Your trip will begin by exploring the Giza Necropolis area by visiting the three Great Pyramids: Khufu, Khafra, and Mankawra, the valley temple of Khafra, which is considered one of the best-preserved valleys in Egypt, and finally the Great Sphinx: which is also considered one of the largest sculptures in the world.
After leaving the pyramids area, we will transfer to a near local restaurant to have a delicious lunch. Then, our next destination will be Citadel square. We will head to Sultan Hassan mosque (1359); the masterpiece of Mamluke architecture. As the Giza pyramids are the icon of ancient pharaonic Egypt, Sultan Hassan mosque is the one for ancient Islamic Egypt, as well as El-Rifai mosque (1912) with its unique structure and worship hall decorations.
And at the end of the day, you will be transferred back to your hotel!
