At the Cairo airport, our tour guide will pick you up before driving you to the Giza pyramids in a contemporary, air-conditioned vehicle.

One of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Giza Pyramids, will be our first stop of the day. Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos will follow, and then we'll head to The Valley Temple. The area where King Chephren, owner of the second pyramid at Giza, had his dead body mummified. It's also the same place where you can get a close-up glimpse of the Sphinx, a fabled protector with a lion's body and King Chephren's head who watches over a large burial complex. The majestic monuments will be available for your exploration, and our professional tour guide will be able to tell you about how they were built.

After that, we'll go on a guided tour of Saqqara, an ancient city located about 27 kilometers (km) southwest of Cairo and known for its stepped pyramids and burial complexes. Visit the Step Pyramid, which was built for King Zoser and is believed to have had a significant impact on how the pyramids changed from the straightforward mastaba to their modern, well-known form.
