3-Days Family Tour to White Desert, Baharyia Oasis, and Fayoum!

At 06:00 am Drive to the Bahariya Oasis, which is around 350 kilometers east of Cairo, at the scheduled time from your accommodation in Giza or Cairo. There will be rest stops and coffee stops along the way, you'll get in your 4x4 Jeep around 10:00 and head to the dark desert.

12:00 Here in El Haize Oasis, lunch will be provided.

15:00 Arrive in the Valley of Agabat, which is tucked away in the middle of a white desert. You must see this location to appreciate its otherworldly beauty. The location was formerly submerged in water millions of years ago. Over time, distinctive limestone, chalk, and even sand rock formations emerged.

Explore the White Desert, the most popular desert site in Egypt, which is a National Park at 16:30.

Then Set up camp and take in the sunset. As the rock formations dissolve and the sky goes from pink to the darkest blazing orange, it is quiet everywhere. You will feel as though nothing has ever tasted so wonderful as you eat chicken, rice, and veggies while seated around a tiny fire. The Bedouin team will plan the meal and desert camping.

Breakfast will be served in the desert at 6:00 a.m, followed by a drive to Bahariya Oasis.

At 09:00 You will stop at Crystal Mountain, sometimes referred to as Gebel al-Izzaz locally, on the way back. The quartzite crystals that compose the hill, which can be seen on the right, are what give it the nickname "the Jewel of the Desert" and give it its stunning appearance when illuminated by the sun. That natural feature was discovered by chance a few decades ago.

Drive to Bahariya Oasis at 11:00 Relax by soaking in the warmth at Bir Sigam, a hot spring. The spring is the best hot spring in terms of temperature, and is situated on the Cairo Road 7 km east of Bahariya.

Then return to by car to the Bahariya hotel overnight.

On the journey to Lake Qarun in a private, air-conditioned vehicle, our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Bahariya while you witness the city transform into orchards and beautiful fields. Discover during Egypt trips some of the magnificent species, including flamingos, ibis, and black-necked grebes, that live along the border of this saline lake.

Visit the neighborhood museum to witness breathtaking examples of Fayoum's mummy portraits, and cloth panel paintings that clearly bear a Greco-Roman influence. With the help of your guide, explore the museum and learn about the history and culture of the area. Don't forget to check out the impressive collection of statues from nearby archaeological sites.

Before going to Wadi El-Rayan to see the man-made waterfalls in the middle of the desert, stop at a nearby restaurant for an Egyptian-style lunch.

Then embark on a picturesque voyage in a felucca, a wooden sailing vessel with a sophisticated gaff-rigged sail.

Finally, Return transportation to your Cairo hotel.
