Your third day in Luxor continues with an exciting morning, where you will have breakfast on board the boat. Then, your relaxing river cruise aboard the MS Esplanade will begin sailing towards Luxor via the Esna Lock. During your journey, you will enjoy lunch on board, and then you will have the opportunity to take a break for afternoon tea and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Nile River.
Upon arrival in Luxor, you will explore the Luxor Temple, built by the famous Pharaoh Amenophis III. Dedicated to Amun and Mut, the temple is an important site for the annual Opt Festival, which was one of the most important religious festivals in ancient Egypt.
Continue your Luxor day tours with a visit to the Karnak Temples, which are dedicated to the trinity of Thebes, namely the god Amun-Ra, the cat Mut, and their son the moon god Khonsu. After enjoying the sightseeing tours, you will return to the Nile cruise to enjoy a sumptuous dinner while watching a belly dance show.
