Enjoyable luxury cruise on Tosca from Luxor to Aswan

Your second day on the River Tosca Nile Cruise has come, and you have a packed schedule.

After breakfast, you will go on a Luxor west bank trip to view the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an ancient Egyptian edifice built during the 18th Dynasty by Queen Hatshepsut, Thutmose III's regent. The temple was constructed to honor and revere Amun, who had assisted Hatshepsut in becoming pharaoh by providing her with a heavenly father figure in the person of Amun himself.
Later in the day, you'll go to the Valley of the Kings to see some of Egypt's most famous tombs, including those of Rameses III and Tutankhamun.

You will be delighted to learn more mysteries and hidden things about the great kings who created the ancient Egyptian monarchy throughout ancient history by visiting the Valley of the Kings on the western bank of Thebes.

Near the end of the journey, you will come across the colossi of Memnon, two massive stone sculptures of Amenhotep III that were relocated to their current location in the 19th century CE.
After lunch at The Nile restaurant, you'll continue your adventure in Esna. One night was spent aboard the boat.

We will spend some time in the ancient cities of Kom Ombo and Edfu. Both the Temple of Horus and the Temple of Sobek, two of Egypt's most important temples, are accessible from here.

You begin your day by visiting Edfu's Temple of Horus. Some of the best specimens of Egyptian art and architecture can be seen here. Horus, the falcon-headed deity of heaven and monarchy, was the inspiration for Pharaoh Ptolemy II Philadelphus' (285-246 BC) temple. Then you'll go to Kom Ombo temple, where you'll learn about its significance in relation to King Ramses II's (1279-1213 BC) quest to unite Egypt.
Finally, you'll return down the Nile on a moonlight cruise to Aswan to round out your fantastic journey!

We will spend the entire day at Aswan. You will visit the Aswan High Dam, which stops 90% of the water from flowing out of Lake Nasser You will be able to learn about the dam's history and how it was constructed. Take a photo of the world's longest river running beneath the dam from the top of the dam.

Following that, you'll witness the massive Philae Temple, which was carved out of granite rock. You'll also view the spectacular Temple of Isis, one of only two temples left on the island of Philae, and the Unfinished Obelisk, which Ramses II began but never completed before his death.
Then do whatever you want with your leisure time. Before spending the night in Aswan, enjoy dinner on the Tosca Nile Cruise.

The fifth day of your 5-day Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan is, unfortunately, coming to an end, but not before you enjoy another great breakfast on board. After breakfast, say your goodbyes before being driven to the Aswan Airport or the Aswan railway station by one of our tour guides.
