After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, our representative will meet you to begin your tour of the Giza Pyramids You'll visit the impressive Great Pyramid of Khufu, built 4,500 years ago in Giza. You'll have the opportunity to explore the pyramids at your own pace or listen to your tour guide's fascinating stories about them. You can also choose to take a camel ride and capture amazing photos of the famous Sphinx, a magnificent lion-shaped statue carved from a single stone. Nearby, you'll find the Valley Temple, an ancient temple used for mummification rituals. Afterward, you'll be transferred to the open-air museum in Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, and the Saqqara Necropolis, home to the oldest pyramid, the Step Pyramid. The tour also includes visits to the pyramid of Teti and the tomb of Kagemni, adorned with colorful scenes of ancient Egyptian life. You'll visit the fascinating Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, which showcase a blend of Egyptian and Greek art and architecture. Then, you'll explore Pompey's Pillar and the Citadel of Qaitbay, a fortress built using the remains of the ancient Lighthouse Pharos. On the way, you'll pass by the modern Bibliotheca of Alexandria. Enjoy a delicious seafood lunch at a restaurant with a sea view. Afterward, we'll drive back to Cairo for an overnight stay.
