Daily Details for Travel Tour and Activities
Upon arrival, your tour leader will meet, greet, and assist you with the check-in aboard Steigenberger Omar El Khayam Lake Nasser Cruise. Your lunch on board will give you ample time to behold this wonder of the Nile. Travel in full comfort and indulge in a sumptuous dinner followed by Nubian shows of entertainment.

Relish a lovely breakfast on board to begin your day off well and get yourself ready for the remainder of it. After breakfast, you'll go on a guided tour to see some of Aswan's historical jewels. Your guide will take you to some of the most fascinating designs from Ptolemaic and Roman times: the Kalabsha Temple, only a quick drive south of Aswan. This 18th Dynasty Temple is dedicated to the Nubian god Mandoulis.
Your tour will also take you to the rock-cut temple of Beit El Wali, ordered by Ramses II, which was dedicated to the gods of Amun-Re, Khnum, Anuket, and Re-Horakhti. This was not only a place of worship but was used during the Christian period as a residence by priests and other leaders of Christianity. Its architectural structure is somewhat similar to that of the famous Temple of Abu Simbel.
In addition to these impressive tours, you will be taken more in-depth along your journey by cruising to Wadi El Sebou, where a delicious lunch will be served to you on board the cruise.

On the third day of your Egypt Day Tour, Enjoy a delicious breakfast on board the Nile cruise and proceed for an eventful day in Egypt. The voyage shall take you to Wadi El Sebou, more popularly known as the Valley of Lions, where you will get to see two great temples built for Ramses II.
Next, get the chance for more fun in Aswan at the famous Amada Temple oldest temple that was ever found in Nubia. Built by Pharaoh Thutmose III and dedicated to the great god Amon Ra, this impressively well-preserved temple shows colorful reliefs proving how powerful the art was during that period of time.
Later in the day, you will have lunch and dinner, after which you will overnight just near Amada.

You will then have an amazing breakfast on board and begin cruising to Qasr Ibrim, one of the most important archaeological places in Egyptian history. Next, your tour leads you to spectacular Abu Simbel with its Middle Eastern not world-renowned-temple complexes hewn into the mountain during the rule of Pharaoh Ramses II, boasting two great temples-one to the king himself and one to his favorite wife, Nefertari. The façade is of bold rock reliefs celebrating the victory of Nefertari in the Battle of Kadesh, which is a real reminder of the grandeur of Ancient Egypt. After your Abu Simbel tour, lunch and dinner are delivered onboard while you contemplate a day of one-of-a-kind occasions.
