The local representative in Luxor will pick you up from your hotel and transport you to the Sonesta St. George Nile River Cruise. After lunch, you'll visit the ancient Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. After the tour, you'll be transferred to your Nile cruise for rest, or optionally, see the Karnak temple's impressive sound and light show.

A delectable breakfast will be served on board. Next, we'll visit the Valley of the Kings, which is among Egypt's most opulent and intriguing ancient tombs. This was the burial place of the New Kingdom's emperors. Our next visit of the day is the temple of Deir El Bahari, which was constructed during the 18th Dynasty by Queen Hatshepsut. is unquestionably a "must-see" for anyone with a strong interest in Ancient Egyptian history. We will make a stop in front of the Colossi of Memnon, the only remnants of King Amenhotep III's massive burial complex, on the way back to the boat. We'll take you on your Nile cruise after that.

Before we head to the Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples, we'll have a fun breakfast on board. The Temple of Horus, which was constructed by the Ptolemies in the third century BC for the worship of Horus, the father's vengeful deity, will be visible when our Nile cruise ship docks in Edfu. We'll head back to our Nile cruise ship for lunch, relaxation, and drinks after this amazing adventure. Next, we shall tour the temple of Kom Ombo, which was finished in Roman times after it was constructed during the Ptolemaic era. You will then be returned to your Nile cruise ship for some downtime. The group plans to host an Egyptian traditional display in the evening.
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Breakfast will be served on board. Afterward, you will prepare to join your qualified tour guide for Aswan excursions. The High Dam, which was built by Gamal Abdel Nasser, the former Egyptian president, to hold back water and then generate a large amount of electricity, will be our first visit of the day. We will then board a speedboat to Philae Temple, which was established in the 3rd century BC as a center of worship for the goddess Isis in Greco-Roman times. The unfinished obelisk, discovered in a granite quarry in the southern region of Aswan, will be our next site. After this Egypt day tour, we will return to our Nile cruise ship for an excellent lunch. In the evening, you can relax on board or take an optional excursion to Philae Temple to enjoy the sound and light show in Philae Temple and learn more about the temple and the monarchs who left their treasures there. We will then return to our Nile cruise for the evening.

Sadly, good things come to an end, and this spectacular tour of the Nile River comes to an end today. Take time to consider the past few days' activities during the farewell breakfast on board before leaving the ship and disembarking. Once more, a friendly tour guide will meet and assist you in getting to the Aswan train or airport in a cozy, air-conditioned vehicle so you can catch your next flight.
