16 Days in Egypt Itinerary

Buffet breakfast at the hotel and start your first tour in Cairo, your certified tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby to be transferred to the pyramids of Giza. 

You cannot explain in words what one feels when touching the oldest buildings in the world. 

The visit lasts about 3-4 hours and has several stops at the Cheops Pyramid, the Chephren Pyramid, the smallest but no less interesting Pyramid from Mycerinus, a very cool view from the high plateau with a great chance of a camel ride in Giza Pyramids (optional) and finally the Great Sphinx, the lion statue with the head of a pharaoh which stood for 4500 years guarding the old kingdom necropolis, your tour to Giza Pyramids continues to the Valley Temple of the mummification for King Chephren which is paved with the finest white alabaster and its stone blocks are among the most enormous in the whole site. This guided tour to the Giza pyramids usually includes full access to all the sights except for the entrance to the pyramid of Cheops from the inside.

Now we will move to the Saqqara and Memphis tours, first, you will explore the site of Saqqara, the oldest necropolis including the Step Pyramid complex of King Djoser that was built by the genius architect Imhotep, you will also enter the Pyramid of Teti which is not soo narrow like the other pyramids of Egypt but more elaborate and exciting, King Teti ruled Egypt during the 6th dynasty and his son in law, Kagemni has his own mastaba tombs among the various tombs of the nobles at Saqqara, you will have a tour inside to see the well-preserved scenes of offerings and hunting during ancient Egypt, in addition to numerous types of animals depicted in the perfection of the ancient Egyptian artist.

Now we will have our local-food lunch meal in Saqqara before heading to Memphis to discover the ruins of the ancient capital of Egypt more than 5000 years ago, nothing much remained except for the unique artifacts that were found and especially the colossal statue of Ramses II and the alabaster sphinx of Memphis.

After exploring the area and finishing the Giza Pyramids tour, we will get back to the hotel by private vehicle and make sure you organize with your tour guide if you would like to do something in Cairo by night.

Breakfast in the hotel in Cairo, then we will go to the Egyptian Museum and your professional guide will explain to you the highlights and masterpieces of the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities in the world including the golden treasures of the famous pharaoh Tutankhamen.

Visit the Citadel of Saladin including Mohamed Ali Mosque and enjoy Islamic Cairo trips, from the top of the citadel you will have an overwhelming view with a lot of mosques, domes, and minarets piercing the blue sky.

Enjoy your lunch then your guide will start the Coptic Cairo tour to see the ancient Roman fortress of Babylon, the Hanging Church, the church of the Holy family, or St Sergius church. Our guide will show you the famous Old Cairo synagogue known as Ben Ezra Synagogue probably the site of the royal palace where Prophet Moses was floating above the water of the Nile River.

Your driver will navigate through the heavy traffic in Cairo to facilitate your Cairo sightseeing tours and reach the Islamic district of Cairo, and spend time at one of the most famous and vibrant markets in Egypt well known as Khan El Khalili, one of the oldest Bazaars in Cairo.

You will be transferred back to the hotel to spend your night.

Have your breakfast in the hotel then transfer to Cairo airport to take your domestic flight heading to Luxor. Meeting and assistance at Luxor airport upon arrival by our representative who will transfer you to the Nile cruise boat for boarding and check-in to your cabin. Have your open-buffet lunch served before starting Luxor day tours and today you will enjoy Luxor East Bank Tours, start with the Karnak Temple, an enormous temple that is considered the most ancient place in the whole country of Egypt. Breakfast will be served aboard your Luxor to Aswan Nile Cruise in the early morning and get ready for the Kom Ombo and Edfu tour starting by the Temple of Edfu that was built for the worship of God Horus, protector of Kingship, back to the cruise ship to have your tasty lunch served and sail to Kom Ombo to visit the double Greco-Roman style temple that was shared by God Sobek the crocodile and God Haroeris who was another figure of Horus. back again to the boat and have your dinner meal while sailing towards Aswan, overnight to start your early morning Aswan sightseeing tours.

After breakfast, you will disembark from your Nile cruise boat to be transferred by your vehicle to Hurghada, you have a chance to book an optional tour to Abu Simbel from Aswan to witness the grandeur of the rock-cut temples built for King "Ramses II "  and his beloved wife Queen Nefertari.

 Upon arrival at Hurghada airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will accompany you by a private vehicle to the hotel and assist you with a smooth check-in, enjoy your open buffet lunch meal, and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Today you will enjoy the sunshine at the beach of your hotel, but we have a good idea for you that will even make your tours in Egypt more exciting, an optional Snorkeling Trip to Mahmya Island in Hurghada by Boat. You will be guided to start your amazing Hurghada Day Tours and Excursions to the Mahmya Island aboard one of the island cruise boats in the Red Sea and start navigating for about one hour to reach the island. Today if you don't want to stay at the hotel, we can organize an optional Hurghada Bedouin Desert Safari by Jeep to experience the desert life with the local Bedouins of the Red Sea and the eastern desert of Egypt. Cairo Top Tours tour leader will meet you at the hotel lobby to be amused by your adventuresome activity in the core of the desert, you will be transferred to the point between Hurghada hills for 35 km till we enter the Bedouin village where you will experience lots of things about this pure yet fascinating life of the Bedouins and see their cultures and attitudes very firmly. There is also a camel ride in the Hurghada desert included if you book this Hurghada excursion with an (optional) quad biking tour in Hurghada nearby the Bedouin village if you're inspired to enjoy the marvelous sunset view while the grill dinner is being cooked by the locals, mineral water and soft drinks are included as well, enjoy the entertainment and the stars ornamenting the desert sky.

After your daily buffet breakfast at the hotel in Hurghada, you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight back to Cairo, upon arrival at Cairo airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel to check in and pick something to do from our variety of Egypt day tours and Cairo excursions.

then transfer to see the temple of Alexander the Great ( The Temple of The Oracle ) at the ancient Aghurmi village that dates back to the 26th dynasty. 

Proceed to visit the Temple of Amun Ra at Um Ubeyda which was created for the honor of God Amun. then see the different Siwan heritage through the Siwa House Museum to discover the culture of the Bedouin societies in Siwa, and have your lunch served in the Oasis famous square at Abdo restaurant.

Reclining afternoon at Cleopatra Spring swimming in the gleaming natural water before being transferred to your eco-lodge for overnight.

A tasty breakfast at the eco-lodge will be prepared before starting your Siwa Oasis Adventure from Cairo to the rock-cut tombs at the Mountain of the Dead to visit the impressive tombs of the rulers of Siwa Oasis during the 26th dynasty. Transfer back to the ecolodge and get ready for the thrill of the Great Sand Sea tour between the sand dunes till we reach the area of the fossils which date back to the Cambrian age.
Drive to one of the charming places in the great sand sea, a lovely lake in the heart of the desert and now you can watch the flamingo birds and swim in the lake enjoying the calmness of the desert.
Then resume your Safari tour in Siwa Oasis and get amazed by the sandboarding adventure, after that, it is time to rinse your body in the hot spring distinguished as Bir Wahid for chilling and soothing our muscles thankfulness to the warm water that goes up to 40 degrees Celsius, enjoy another breathtaking Sun Set at the great sand sea in the middle of the dunes while having Bedouin tea.
