When you arrive at Cairo International Airport at the beginning of our 5-day Cairo and Luxor Easter tour, Our tour guides will be there to greet you and assist you with your luggage. You'll be transferred to your hotel in Cairo, where you'll be welcomed with a refreshing drink.

Our tour guides will review the details of your itinerary with you, ensuring that everything is going according to plan and answering any questions you may have about your Egypt day tours. They'll also help you with a smooth check-in process at the hotel, making sure that you're comfortable and settled in.

You'll begin your first day in Cairo with a visit to the Giza Pyramids. Your tour guide will take you to see the impressive structures built by the famous kings of Egypt during the 4th dynasty, including the pyramids of Egypt, Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus. You'll learn about the history and significance of these ancient wonders, including their role as burial tombs for the half-god kings.

For an optional activity, you can enjoy Camel Riding in Giza and take beautiful photos with the help of your Bedouin guide. You'll also see the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple, which are part of the funerary complex of King Chephren.

Next, your driver will take you to the Saqqara Necropolis, where you'll see the oldest stone pyramid in Egypt, the Step Pyramid. Built by the famous architect Imhotep for his king Djoser of the 3rd dynasty, the pyramid is a fascinating example of the transitional phase in the development of royal burial tombs.

You'll also have the opportunity to visit the Pyramid of Teti and the tomb of his son-in-law, Kagemni, which is one of the most impressive tombs of the nobles due to its rich offering and hunting scenes inscribed on its walls.

After your day of exploring, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch at an Egyptian restaurant before heading to Memphis, now known as Mit Rahina, to see the open-air museum with its amazing artifacts, including the alabaster sphinx of Memphis and the colossal statue of Ramses II. Once your day tour ends, you'll be transferred back to your hotel. 

Breakfast and lunch are included in this day's activities, ensuring that you have the energy to explore all that Egypt has to offer.

On day 3, you'll fly to Luxor from Cairo after being transferred to the airport by our representative. When you arrive at Luxor airport, you'll be welcomed by your private tour guide, who will accompany you throughout your excursions in Luxor for the next two days.

Your first Luxor day tours will begin with a visit to the Luxor east bank, where you'll see the impressive Luxor Temple. This temple, built by King Amenhotep III and completed by different kings and rulers of ancient Egypt, is among the most exceptional temples in Luxor. It's a testament to the prominence of ancient Egyptian civilization and the importance of religion in their culture.

Next, you'll visit the Temple of Karnak, the center of religion and administration during the new kingdom. The temple was developed by many pharaohs in different epochs, making it the biggest in the world. You'll enter the temple through the avenue of the sphinxes, and your guide will provide you with a fascinating historical and cultural context.

After your tours, you'll have lunch at a local restaurant in Luxor before checking into your hotel for the night. Breakfast and lunch are included in this day's activities, ensuring that you're well-fed and energized to explore all that Luxor has to offer.

On the second day of your Luxor west bank tours, you'll enjoy a visit to the Luxor west bank. Our tour guide will take you to explore the monuments that are sited on the west bank of the Nile River, starting with the new kingdom necropolis, the Valley of the Kings. Here, more than 63 royal tombs have been discovered hidden between the hills, with the tomb of the golden King Tutankhamun being among the most impressive ones that have been found intact.

Tutankhamun is one of the most famous kings who have a monument in the Egyptian Museum. He became Pharaoh of Egypt at the age of nine, and his name in the ancient Egyptian language means "the vivid image of God Amon", the chief ancient Egyptian goddess. Tutankhamun lived in a transitional period in the history of ancient Egypt, coming after Akhenaton, who tried to unite the gods of ancient Egypt in the form of God.

Next, you'll proceed to the Mortuary Temple of El Deir El Bahari, also known as the Northern Monastery. This temple was built by the famous architect Senmout for Queen Hatshepsut and is one of the most impressive temples in Egypt. Hatshepsut was a very powerful ruler in Egypt, and her reign was characterized by significant reforms in many fields.

After your tours, you'll be transferred to Luxor Airport by your private vehicle to take your flight to Cairo. Once you arrive in Cairo, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in and overnight. Breakfast and lunch are included in this day's activities, ensuring that you're well-fed and ready to explore all that Luxor has to offer.

On the final day of your 5-Day Cairo and Luxor Easter Tour, you'll start with a visit to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Your driver will transfer you to Cairo downtown, where you'll see the interesting masterpieces of the Pharaonic era displayed inside and outside the 19th-century building that was built after the efforts of the famous Auguste Mariette. You'll get to see the golden collections of King Tutankhamun, including his jewelry, chariots, beds, caskets, sarcophagi, and his famous golden mask and throne.

Next, you'll be transferred to the area of Old Cairo to see the oldest Christian churches, including the Hanging Church of the Holy Virgin Mary. This Greek Orthodox church was built over the ruins of the ancient Roman fortress of Babylon. You'll get to see the ancient icons and relics before moving on to the crypt where the Holy Virgin Mary and the baby Jesus Christ took refuge for 3 months under the cavern church of St. Sergius. You'll also visit the Synagogue of Ben Ezra, which was once a Coptic Church that was sold to pay heavy taxes applied to the Christian community during the time of Islamic Cairo.

After your tours, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch in a good quality restaurant that serves Egyptian cuisine before being transferred to the old market of Khan El Khalili. Here, you'll have a great time discovering the area of Islamic Cairo and buying souvenirs that will remind you of your unforgettable tours in Cairo.
