Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, you'll have access to several convenient and affordable transportation options. Taxis are the quickest and most common choice, but it's advisable to avoid white taxis as they often don't use meters and might demand higher fares. Opting for Uber, which utilizes GPS and meters, remains a preferred choice. Additionally, the subway or metro is a widely popular and easily accessible mode of transportation for navigating the city. Given that streets can sometimes become congested with pedestrians and vehicles, the metro has become one of the fastest ways to move from one point to another in Egypt.
