On your first day in Cairo, we have an exciting private excursion planned for you. At 8 a.m., our friendly tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. Our first stop will be the Great Pyramid of Giza, which is the largest and oldest pyramid in the Giza pyramid complex. Next, we'll visit the Pyramid of Chephren, the second-tallest and largest pyramid in Giza. We'll also take you to the King Chephren Valley Temple, where you'll get a closer look at the magnificent Great Sphinx. The Sphinx is a legendary creature with the body of a lion and the head of King Chephren. You'll have the chance to go on a camel ride near the pyramids, which is a fun and unique experience. Our next stop is the Grand Egyptian Museum. You'll have the opportunity to see the famous display dedicated to King Tutankhamun, showcasing his treasures and gold unearthed from his tomb. We'll then drive to the Saladin Citadel. For lunch, we'll take you to an Egyptian restaurant where you can savor delicious local cuisine. In the afternoon, we'll explore Old Cairo and visit its iconic landmarks, such as the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, Church of St. Barbara, and the ancient Church of Abu Serga. These sites hold great historical and religious importance. If time permits, we'll also take you to Khan el-Khalili, a vibrant and bustling market that has been a center of commerce in Cairo for centuries. It's a fascinating place to wander through the maze-like streets and indulge in some shopping. After an eventful day, we'll return you to your hotel in Cairo for a restful overnight stay.
