After lunch, join our tour guide for a visit to the ancient temple of Karnak, which was built over a thousand years ago. We will then proceed to Luxor Temple, which was built by Ramses II, Queen Hatshepsut, and other monarchs in the 14th century BC and continued to be built for many years thereafter. After the tour, you will be transferred to your Nile cruise to rest and refresh. Evenings are free to relax on board or we can arrange a visit (optional) to see the sound and light show at Karnak temple, one of the most impressive shows in Egypt. After that, we will return to our Nile cruise for overnight.

(Lunch & Dinner)

On board, a delicious breakfast will be served. Then we will go to the Valley of the Kings, one of the richest and most fascinating ancient tombs in Egypt. The rulers of the New Kingdom were buried here. The temple of Deir El Bahari, built by Queen Hatshepsut during the 18th Dynasty, will be our next stop of the day. Is a definite “must-see” for anyone who is passionate about the history of Ancient Egypt. On the way back to the boat, we will stop in front of the Colossi of Memnon, which are the only remains of the huge burial complex of King Amenhotep III. After that, we will take you on your cruise on the Nile.

 (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

An exciting breakfast will be served on board before we begin our Tour to Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples. Our Nile cruise boat will dock at Edfu, where we will see the Temple of Horus, which was built by the Ptolemies in the 3rd century BC for the worship of Horus, the avenging deity of the father. After this great excursion, we will return to our Nile cruise ship for lunch, rest and refreshments. We will then see the temple of Kom Ombo, which was built during the Ptolemaic period and completed in Roman times. After that, you will be taken back to your Nile cruise ship to rest and relax. In the evening, the team will organize an Egyptian folklore show.

(Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Breakfast will be served on board. Afterward, you will prepare to join your qualified tour guide for Aswan excursions. The High Dam, which was built by Gamal Abdel Nasser, the former Egyptian president, to hold back water and then generate a large amount of electricity, will be our first visit of the day. We will then board a speedboat to Philae Temple, which was established in the 3rd century BC as a center of worship for the goddess Isis in Greco-Roman times. The unfinished obelisk, discovered in a granite quarry in the southern region of Aswan, will be our next site. After this Egypt day tour, we will return to our Nile cruise ship for an excellent lunch. In the evening, you can relax on board or take an optional excursion to Philae Temple to enjoy the sound and light show in Philae Temple and learn more about the temple and the monarchs who left their treasures there. We will then return to our Nile cruise for the evening.

(Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and today marks the end of this magnificent Nile River tour. Before departing the ship and disembarking, enjoy a goodbye breakfast on board to reflect on the events of the last few days. Once again, one of our cheerful tour leaders will greet you and bring you to the Aswan airport or train station in a comfortable air-conditioned car to catch your flight to your next destination.
