After breakfast and check-out in the morning, your tour guide will drive you to Alexandria in a contemporary, air-conditioned vehicle. The first stop on this day trip will be The catacombs at Kom El Shouqafa, which are regarded as one of the wonders of the Middle Ages. It is the largest known Roman burial site in Egypt, with three floors of tombs that can accommodate up to 300 bodies. Before becoming a public cemetery, the area had been developed as a private burial ground for a single family. The architecture of the tombs is reminiscent of Greco-Roman styles. This is evident in the wall artwork's inventive fusion of Egyptian, Greek, and Roman artistic traditions.
After stopping to take pictures, you will continue to The Citadel of Qaitbey, which is thought to be one of the most significant defensive strongholds not only in Egypt but also along the Mediterranean Sea coast. The Citadel was a crucial part of Alexandria's defense system in the 15th century A.D. The easternmost point of Pharos Island is where it is situated, not far from the eastern harbor's entrance. It was constructed precisely where the renowned Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, once stood.

Next, a visit to the Montazah Royal Palaces and Gardens will be made, which belonged to Mohamed Ali Pasha's royal family from Khedive Abbas Helmy II to King Farouk I.
