Egypt is a large country filled with must-see sights. It is best to join a guided multi-day tour to Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan if you want to see all of the highlights, including the Valley of the Kings, the Giza Pyramids, and the magnificent Edfu Temple, which is one of the best-preserved temples today and was dedicated to the god Horus. It is located in the city of Edfu, on the west bank of the Nile River, and is a great tourist spot to visit on your trip to Egypt. And you can be sure that you will never regret doing that.
The winter months, from October to April, are perfect for visiting Egypt. The weather is mild and pleasant, though the evenings can get quite cool. December through January are peak tourist months, so expect to see a lot of people if you go during this time. March to May is the best time to enjoy the beaches without having to deal with the large crowds of summer tourists. Temperatures are pleasant at this time of year, and tourist attractions are not overcrowded.
This is a very relative question because it depends on what style of travel you want and what you want to do. If you’ve already bought your package, and you just want to bring extra money for groceries, gift purchases, and tips, let’s assume it would be at least $ 50 per day per person.
Although it is not required, we must take into account that tips are an integral part of Egyptian culture and that, given their low pay, they serve as a complement. Here are some instances where leaving a gratuity is appropriate:
There is usually someone who provides you toilet paper at the restroom entrance: 5 EGP
For drivers: $5 per person per day
Leader Tour: $5 per person, each day
Advice: $10 USD each day / person
Baggage loader: $1–$3
Cleaning charge: USD Two pictures of Bedouins, locals, or camels for one dollar
USD 30 for cruise personnel (better to give it to reception upon check-out)
Any additional help or services: between 5 and 20 EGP
10% of the waitstaff
If your nation is not on the list, you must apply in person or by mail for a visa at the Egyptian embassy or consulate there.
Your passport needs to have one blank page and be valid for at least six months. The applicant's nationality determines what further documentation is needed for a visa. Please get in touch with the Egyptian consulate in your nation for additional details.
High-end lodging, private transportation, expertly guided tours, meals, and occasionally extra experiences or activities are all included in luxury tour packages.
