Upon arrival at Luxor airport or Luxor train station, our representative will transfer you to your MS Steigenberger Minerva luxury cruise ship in a private air-conditioned vehicle. In the afternoon, you will discover the east bank of Luxor, including the Karnak temple complex, which is the largest structure ever built in human history. The main building is that of the god Amun Re, as it was considered the god's home on earth. The oldest structure dates back to the Middle Kingdom, but there are some references to older buildings such as the 3rd Dynasty. Later, you will visit Luxor Temple, which was built by one of the 12th Dynasty kings and completed by the famous King Ramses II. This temple was located in the heart of ancient Thebes and, like Karnak, was dedicated to the main god Amun Re. After completing your day's tour, you will be transferred to your boat for rest and refreshment. In the evening, an Egyptian folkloric show will be organized by the staff. Dinner will be served and you will spend the night in Luxor.

Meals Included: Lunch and Dinner

Breakfast on the Nile cruise. Next, you will begin your magical tour to Thebes, the sacred land, by exploring the west bank of Luxor, including the Valley of the Kings, considered the royal burial ground of Theban kings and rulers of ancient Egypt, and the place where our pharaohs were buried. Then you will go to the temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari. This temple is considered one of the most beautiful examples of ancient Egyptian architecture, as it was carved entirely out of the mountain. At the end of the tour, you will visit the Colossi of Memnon, which belongs to King Amenhotep III. After that, you will return to your boat to have your lunch. Afternoon free. Dinner and overnight on the cruise.

Meals Included: Break, Lunch, and Dinner

Once you have had a good breakfast on board, you will disembark for an excursion to Edfu's spectacular Temple of Horus, before returning to your river cruise boat and departing for Kom Ombo. Lunch will be supplied en way, and you will be driven to view the famed Kom Ombo temple once you arrive.

Finally, your boat will depart for Aswan, where it will arrive in the late afternoon or early evening. On the boat at Aswan, have another delicious dinner and a peaceful night's sleep.

Meals Included: Break, Lunch, and Dinner

After another delicious breakfast on the lake, you'll be taken to see the famed Aswan High Dam, the interesting Unfinished Obelisk, and the Temple of Philae, one of Egypt's most surviving ancient temples.

Spend the last night of your trip on the calm waters of Aswan, enjoying a delicious lunch and another great dinner on board the ship.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Unfortunately, your 5-day Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan ends on day 5, but not before you've had another delicious breakfast on board. It will be time to check out and disembark after breakfast, and one of our tour representatives will take you to Aswan Airport or Aswan Railway Station, where everyone will say their final goodbyes.
