Luxor Aswan Nile Cruise with Abu Simbel Tour

An optional hot air balloon ride tour over the West Bank is available (additional price).

After breakfast, you will begin your day cruise to the West Bank of Luxor tour. First, you will be taken to the Necropolis of Thebes in the Valley of the Kings, which is a must-see for travelers. Then, three royal tombs of different dynasties are visited including the Tomb of Ramses Ill, the Tomb of Ramses lV, and the Tomb of Merenptah. Your tour guide will be able to advise you and recommend which tombs to see. After visiting the tombs (Medinet Habu), you will be taken to the temple of Ramses III. Entrance fees to Tutankhamun's tomb (300.00 EGP) (optional).

The 2 Colossi of Memnon (two colossal statues symbolizing King Amenhotep III in a sitting position) will be visited at the end of the day. Then, back to the floating hotel for lunch and a folkloric show before returning to Edfu for the night.

After Breakfast, you will visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, which is dedicated to the falcon god Horus and is considered the most complete and best-preserved of all Egyptian temples. Return to the cruise for Lunch and Sailing to Kom Ombo. During the cruise to Kom Ombo, relax on the deck and enjoy the spectacular view of the Nile. Afternoon tea on the sun deck. Late afternoon stop to see the remarkable double temple of Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Return to the cruise ship for dinner, followed by a folkloric celebration organized by the crew and tour guides. Continue sailing to Aswan, where you will spend the night.

Your guide will pick you up in the early morning for a tour of Abu Simbel, home to one of Egypt's most magnificent sites: the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel, which were built for King Ramses II and his beloved Queen Nefertari. Return to the ship at noon to eat lunch and relax a bit. Today, the afternoon is free. Dinner on board and a Nubian folklore show. In Aswan, spend the night.

After breakfast, take time off and visit Aswan with your guide, learning about the story of Nubian immigration. Begin your Aswan day Tours at the High Dam, which was built in 1960 to protect Egypt from flooding while generating electricity. In a small boat, you will go to the Temple of Isis in Philae dedicated to the goddess Isis. You will then be transferred to Aswan International Airport to catch a flight back to Cairo.
