Start your day early by departing from Cairo to Bahariya Oasis. The drive usually takes around 4-5 hours, so make sure you have a comfortable vehicle and a knowledgeable guide for the journey.
When you arrive, our local Bedouin driver-guide will welcome you and take you to see the Valley of Golden Mummies which enjoys a large number of mummies and funerary artifacts in the area.
After that, you will visit the Tombs of the Nobles that date back to various periods of ancient Egyptian history, including the New Kingdom (approximately 1550–1077 BC).
Now we will take you to the Temple of Alexander the Great: a famous ancient Macedonian king and military conqueror who lived in the 4th century BC and the Temple of Ain El-Meffetla or Ein Muftella. The temple contains four chapels belonging to the 26th dynasty of ancient Egypt history The chapels were found in 1939 by Egyptian scientists.
Enjoy a delicious local lunch in Bahariya Oasis, trying some traditional Egyptian dishes before departing for the White Desert in the late afternoon. It's about a 3- to 4-hour drive from Bahariya Oasis.
The journey includes a visit to the Valley of El Haize, a northern garrison in the Western Desert, and camping in the White Desert. The local guides will prepare dinner, and the journey also includes stops at Crystal Mountain and the magical Valley of Agabat, a magical beauty that is not repeated anywhere else in the Egyptian desert.
