The Great Pyramid of Cheops was the tallest structure built by human hands in the world.
The pyramid reaches a height of 479 feet (146 meters) with a base of 754 feet (230 meters) and is made up of over two million stone blocks. Some of these stones are so immense in size and weight such as the granite slabs in the King's Chamber that the process of lifting and positioning them so precisely seems impossible by modern standards.
See the two other pyramids of Chephren and Mycerinus from the plateau while having an optional camel ride in Giza Pyramids to take amazing photos of the whole view.
Transfer to the pyramid complex of King Chephren to see the Valley Temple where his body was mummified, on your way, you will pass by the third pyramid of King Mycerinus and finally, we will take amazing tricky photos near the Great Sphinx in Giza.
Now we will move to the necropolis at Saqqara to see the Step Pyramid complex of King Djoser. It was built in the 27th century BC. during the third dynasty for the burial of the pharaoh Zoser by his genius architect, Imhotep. The pyramid is the central feature of a vast mortuary complex in a huge courtyard surrounded by ceremonial structures and decorations.
See one of the well-preserved tombs of the nobles, the tomb of Kagemni who was King Teti's son-in-law, enter also the Pyramid of Teti who ruled Egypt during the 6th dynasty.
Enjoy your lunch meal in a good-quality restaurant before being transferred to the ancient capital of Egypt, Memphis. You will see the open-air museum with the alabaster sphinx of Memphis in the center, amazing statues of King Ramses II located as well as more artifacts from different stages of the pharaonic era.

First, we will enjoy the Egyptian Museum tour, head towards the Egyptian Museum, the most complete exhibition of ancient Egyptian treasures, some of which were also found in Tutankhamun's tomb.
The museum is located just 500 meters from the main Tahrir Square and the tour takes almost 2 hours to explore the 2 floors building with the most incredible artifacts from many eras of Egypt's history.
Transfer now to start one of the amazing Islamic Cairo trips, arrive at the area of the Saladin Citadel, which is the fortress of the city, located upon a hill, and was built by the famous Sultan Saladin in the 12th century. Inside the Citadel, you will admire one of the most impressive mosques, that of Mohamed Ali Basha who is the founder of Modern Egypt, he ruled the country from 1805 till 1849 and did many reforms to develop education, military, industrial, and agricultural state in Egypt, also called Muhammad Ali Mosque because of the great amount of granite used inside the mosque.
Our next stop during Cairo day tours is the Coptic Cairo tour to see the Coptic churches in the area of Old Cairo, which is home to the largest Christian community in Egypt. We can walk through its narrow tunnels and stop in the various churches until we reach that of St. Sergius, where the holy family took refuge in a crypt inside.
See also the Hanging Church which is built suspended on two towers of the Roman fortress of Babylon and the Synagogue of Ben Ezra before having a pleasant lunch and transferring to Khan-El-Khalili, the most important bazaar in all of Egypt, where you can walk among the scents of spices and the colors of the stalls. The souk is free and open until late at night, we recommend stopping to have a typical tea-mint or fresh Mango juice in one of the oldest cafes in the area.
