Each pyramid complex used to have a valley temple, a mortuary temple, and a tomb, which is the pyramid itself. The pyramid complex of King Chephren is the only one, best preserved among all the monuments on the site, that shows that the Valley Temple was used for ritual purposes before the pharaoh's burial took place.

Now continue the Coptic Cairo tour to visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue, According to Jewish tradition, it is probably the site where the basket of baby Moses was picked up from the Nile by the Pharaoh's daughter.

Your lunch will be served in a local restaurant, and then you will be accompanied by your personal driver and guide to see the Citadel of Saladin and enter the Alabaster Mosque from inside to get a panorama of the old mosques, domes, and minarets that are seen through Islamic Cairo, which is an interesting sight among all of our Cairo trips. For tourists who want to experience the best of what Cairo has to offer, 3 days is enough. The first day can be spent learning all about the history and culture of the city by visiting museums and exploring famous archaeological sites. On the second day, they can try out some unique experiences in Egypt, such as sandboarding at Faiyum Oasis, touring the Pyramids of Giza on ATV quad bikes, cruising along the River Nile, and attending a ghost tour in Alexandria. They can save the shopping experience and the nightlife scenes on the third day. The city has a plethora of vibrant bars as well as shops that offer the best things to buy in Cairo.

Photography is permitted in most of the historical sites and museums in Egypt, but some sites charge extra fees for taking a camera and video camera into them. In some museums, like the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, and some historical sites, like the Valley of the Kings in Luxor, photography is prohibited and visitors are asked to leave their cameras outside or in the cars. Cell phones are allowed in some places for free, as well as photos of people. Of course, it is always polite to ask permission before taking a photograph of people, especially women, and stores or products. Photography is non-permitted around army bases, airports, dams, bridges, and in the subway. In most places where photography is prohibited there are signs to notify you.

There are a ton of terrifying tales of tourists who visited Egypt without a private guide and had a bad time there altogether. Nobody could guide them through Cairo's pandemonium, let them cross the street securely, or tell them who to trust when they interacted with vendors in eateries, retail establishments, and tourist destinations.
