Begin with your tour to Giza Pyramids to see the huge structures that were built by the great pharaohs of Egypt during the 4th dynasty, Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus. Now we will see the Great Sphinx, the man-headed lion figure which is 73 meters tall and we will also enter the Valley Temple which is another part of the funerary complex of King Chephren.

Your driver will take you to Saqqara Necropolis, about 45 minutes far from Cairo to see the oldest stone pyramid in Egypt, the Step Pyramid which was built by the famous architect Imhotep for his king, Djoser of the 3rd dynasty. The pyramid is a transitional phase in the development of the royal burial tombs.

We have the possibility to enter the Pyramid of Teti who ruled the country during the 6th dynasty and the tomb of his sixth daughter's husband, Kagemni tomb, which is one of the most impressive tombs of the nobles for having a rich amount of offerings and hunting acenes inscribed on its walls and still very well-preserved until now.

Have your delightful lunch meal in one of the good quality restaurants and transfer to Memphis, now known as Mit Rahina to see the open-air museum with its amazing artifacts, especially the alabaster sphinx of Memphis, and the colossal statue of Ramses II, the new kingdom legendary pharaoh who is the owner of the impressive Abu Simbel Temples in Aswan.

After having breakfast at the hotel you will meet up with your licensed tour guide to start your Cairo to Alexandria day trip as you will take the Alexandria Desert Road for almost 3 hours drive including a coffee break. Upon arrival, you will fall in love with the beautiful city of Alexandria which was founded in 332 B.C by the famous Macedonian leader Alexander the Great and remains the capital of Egypt for almost 1000 years.

First, you will see Pompey's Pillar which is located within the ruined Serapeum of Alexandria, transfer to see the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, which is an ancient catacomb comprised of 3 floors under the ground and ornamented from the inside with a mixture of Pharaonic and Greco-Roman styles of art and architecture.

Transfer to the Citadel of Qaitbay which is built by the ruined stones of the ancient Lighthouse Pharos. We will pass by the modern Bibliotheca of Alexandria on our way to enjoy a pleasant seafood lunch meal in a restaurant overlooking the seawater.

Qe will take the vehicle back to Cairo for an overnight stay.
