7-Day Tour to Cairo, Siwa Oasis, and Alexandria

You will meet your licensed tour guide in Cairo to begin your tour of the Giza Pyramids, which include the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, which dates back to the 4th dynasty, after enjoying your delicious breakfast at the hotel.

See the pyramids of Chephren and Mycerinus, his successors from the same dynasty in the history of the Old Kingdom of Egypt, and then take a drive to the high plateau region for a breathtaking view.

After that, snap priceless pictures of the three pyramids, and don't miss the opportunity to take an amazing camel ride at the Giza Pyramids. After that, head to the Great Sphinx, an amazing sculpture that is located next to the Giza Pyramids and features a human head and a lion's body.

You will then be taken to Tahrir Square, which is one of Cairo's most well-known and expansive Egyptian squares. You will enjoy taking a tour of the Egyptian Museum to view artifacts from various eras, including the treasures of the child King Tutankhamun. The two-story building houses over 120,000 artifacts, including mummies, golden coffins, enormous statues, and sarcophagi.

Following a delicious lunch at a neighborhood restaurant in Cairo, continue your exploration of the city by going to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, Egypt's oldest marketplace, where you can sample traditional tea made with mint in a neighborhood cafe and discover the neighborhood that is the focus of the majority of Islamic tours of Cairo. When your day trips to Cairo are over, you will be taken back to the hotel.

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, depart for Alexandria, Egypt, in your air-conditioned car. After arriving, the first stop on your day trip through Alexandria will be the Roman Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, which were found early in the 20th century and are regarded as some of the largest tombs from Egypt's Greco-Roman past.

Scholars concur that the catacombs were occupied until the late 4th century A.D., at which point they were deserted. Proceed to observe the location of the Pompey Pillar within the remnants of Ptolemy III's Alexandria Serapeum.

Proceed to explore the Citadel of Qaitbay, which was constructed in the fifteenth century by the Muslim Mamluk Sultan Qaitbay to defend the city from the threat posed by the Crusaders. This amazing Islamic monument was constructed using the remnants of the Alexandria Lighthouse Pharos, which was constructed in the third century B.C. by Ptolemy XI.

After lunch at a restaurant with a view of the harbor and fresh seafood, you will be driven to the hotel in Alexandria to complete the check-in process.

After having breakfast at your Alexandria hotel, check out and head to El Alamein to see the El Alamein War Cemetery, which has amazing artifacts from the two battles that took place there in October and November of 1942. After that, continue driving toward Siwa Oasis and have lunch in Marsa Matrouh, a stunning city on the Mediterranean coast.

After checking into the hotel and dropping off your bags, you'll head to one of the hot springs to swim and unwind after a tiring drive.

Following breakfast, you will embark on your Siwa Oasis Desert Safari adventure and take in a tour of the partially melted Shali Fortress ruins.

Enjoy a delicious lunch at the Abdo restaurant, located in the well-known Oasis square with a view of the fortress.

Spend a leisurely afternoon swimming in the glistening natural water at Cleopatra Springs, Afterward, you'll be taken to Fitnas Island to take in the breathtaking sunset view.

After breakfast at the eco-lodge, continue your desert safari in Siwa Oasis to the rock-cut tombs inside the Mountain of the Dead, This mountain has multiple tombs carved into its base, terraces, and summit.

After returning to the hotel, you will board a second 4x4 vehicle to begin your Great Sand Sea Tour. You will drive to one of the fascinating locations in the Great Sand Sea, which is stunning due to its natural phenomena that cause the sand to move like waves in the ocean.

Then, get enthused about sandboarding; it's not quite as quick as snowboarding, but if you do it right, you can have a lot of fun shooting down some of the enormous dunes in the vast sand sea.

After sandboarding, it's time to take a shower in the 40-degree hot spring known as Bir Wahid, which is perfect for relieving stress and extending our muscles. Later, we can take in yet another gorgeous sunset at the large sand sea in the middle of the dunes while sipping Bedouin tea.
