A welcome drink
After having your first breakfast at your Cairo hotel, meet the certified Egyptologist guide from Cairo Top Tours and head to the Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, which is the only monument among the seven wonders of the ancient world that is still largely intact. You will also see the pyramids of Chephren and Mycerinus, the renowned Sphinx, and the Temple of the Valley in front of the enormous statue. Our tour of the plateau includes a panoramic tour to see all the pyramids of Giza together and take delicate pictures.
After that, we'll transport you to Saqqara to see the Djoser Pyramid, the world's first all-stone structure, and the Step Pyramid complex. The tour includes the entrance to the Teti pyramid, which has the most spectacular interior of any accessible pyramid, as well as the nobles' tombs in Saqqara, where visitors can see the remnants of ancient Egyptian daily life, with all of their activities preserved in paintings and inscriptions on the walls and passageways of these 4,000-year-old tombs.
After lunch, you will travel to Memphis, which was the capital of the Egyptian pharaohs for a millennium and served as a significant religious and cultural hub for the entire three millennia of ancient Egyptian civilization. Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel before making the short trip to the Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor. After reaching Luxor, you will be greeted and helped by a representative from Cairo Top Tours. You will then begin your tour of the West Bank, stopping at the Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon, and the Temple of Deir El Bahari, which is the former residence of Queen Hatshepsut. Following that, you will begin your tour of the East Bank of Luxor with a visit to the Karnak temple complex by our guide.
After checking in late, you will have some downtime before seeing Luxor Temple, which has a unique atmosphere created by the night lighting inside an old temple. After your day's tours are over, return to your accommodation in Luxor for the night, visit the Luxor Temple to view its court and the granite statues of Ramses II.

The hotel is going to serve a fantastic breakfast. Make your way to the airport in Luxor in order to board your Cairo flight. Your private guide will accompany you to the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to the world's biggest collection of Egyptian antiquities and the sole royal treasure discovered undamaged: the riches of the Golden Pharaoh, when you arrive in Cairo for your day’s tour. A popular tour program that we offer is the one to Tutankhamun.
Following that, you will see Saladin's Citadel, which includes Mohamed Ali's alabaster mosque, and take in a bird's-eye view of Islamic Cairo, which features minarets, domes, and mosques that date back hundreds or even millennia. Your personal driver and guide will also accompany you on this tour.
After enjoying a delicious lunch at a fantastic restaurant, travel to Coptic Cairo to see the ancient Roman fortress of Babylon, the Hanging Church, which is suspended above its historic bastions, the church of St. Sergius, which houses the crypt where the holy family resided for almost three months, and the spring that provided them with water. Next, we will go to the Ben Ezra Synagogue, which is believed to be the location of the pharaoh's palace and the place where Moses' basket was found in the Nile.
You then go on to Islamic Cairo where you will visit the old bazaar known as Khan El Khalili and spend some time interacting with the locals.
Enter the hotel and stay the night in Cairo.

On the final day of your Egypt Xmas Tours 2024, enjoy the delicious breakfast that is part of your packages at the hotel. At noon, check out and depart. Our agent will transport you to the airport and help you with the last-minute departure procedures there when you choose the pick-up time.
